I was surprised to see Sundance get the cut. Guess Sanjaya has all the teen girls voting a million times for him! I really like Blake.

Guess that's what happens when the show is judged by call in voters rather than being professionally judged.

The final six for the women should be great competition-Sabrina could of been one of the top six also-just the way the vote went...I guess Gina outvoted Sabrina because her style was different, and that attracted enough voters.

The final six for the men IMO is not that great. Sanjaya should of been gone-his range of his voice is very limited. I guess Sundance singing a rock song from Pearl Jam(check) is not the type of music that AI audiences appreciate-even though the judges say differently seems playing it safe with ballads, or brand recognition songs seems to work better.

Sanjaya is only around because the producers are keeping him on the create controversy, it honestly really doesn't matter to keep him on the show because they know and we know he isn't going to win. The producers want to create this controversy to keep the talk alive and make the show even more popular, makes us wanna watch and see what happens next. That's all he is there for I mean my dog can sing better than he can.

there is actually a site that promotes the worst singer each season. they say as soon as sanjaya is gone they will pick the next worst. they aren't actually doing anything to the votes but people look at that site and follow it to a degree just to mess with the show.

Sanjaya looked ridiculous on Tuesday and sang a terrible song. "Bathwater"?? Yet, he doesn't even make the bottom 3 last night.

All I can say is FIN-AL-LY!!!! Thank goodness Sanjaya is finally gone! I knew that the votefortheworst.com push could only take him so far. He seems like a nice kid & everything but this is a singing competition after all...and he should have gone before lots of the contestants that already left, in my opinion.

I jumped up and cheered when Sanjaya got the axe, my favorite is Malinda to win it all, my husband likes the blake the human beat box guy.

Malinda has the best over all voice.

Darn-I missed Wednesday show...I have to pull for Jordan-she's the only one left of the original three-I think she has the total package that AI is looking for, and the melinda votes are going to go with Jordan more then Blake IMO.

Personally, even though I know she was the best singer, I was kind of pulling for Blake & Jordin to go to the finals. Melinda, to me, just doesn't have that "star quality" and "marketability" that the other two possess. Don't get me wrong, I still think she'll do great & sell plenty of albums (or maybe pull a Jennifer Hudson & be in movies), but I think that the demographic of ppl who were Melinda's fans weren't the voting demographic (the young ppl are the voters, calling in for Blake & Jordin) & that's why she went home.

Jordin lives near me. I do hope she wins because she has the total package and she's dedicated and a hard worker. Plus, she's well liked. Not a mean bone in her body.

Toby - that's what I have heard...I read a great article about her & it pretty much said that what you see with her is what you get - which made me really happy to hear! Now that she's up against Blake, she will definitely win...but he's going to be a star, too!
