Re: The Amazing Race - DISCUSSION thread

Where are all the comments?
I am really enjoying this show so far. I love seeing "the world" at a glance. Who are your favorite teams this time? Who do you think is doing better than you first expected?
My favorite team is the Miss America girls. I hope they continue to do well. They do not seem too stuck up, but they do appear confident in themselves, and so far they are not whiney.
I am surprised that the housewife married to the miner is doing well. I do not think they will survive much longer but I like the way they treat each other.
I am not very impressed with the gay guys. They do not have as much personality as others they have had on the show in the past.
The Dad-daughter team has impressed me.
The recovered drug addict/models are a good team.
What do you all think?

I don't like the druggies or the moms. Haven't really seen too much with the father/daughter team, but they seem fine from what I have seen.

MissAmerica I think I like and IronMan as well (for the most part).

Hopefully will be a great season and some good action packet episodes!

Re: The Amazing Race - DISCUSSION thread

I like the father/daugher, Coalminer/wife and Miss America. There isn't a team I really dislike, as I have in seasons past. It's still early and things can change. We definitely have the fighting couple with Rob/Kim. I think with them there is potential for things to get really bad.

Well I was "cheering" for the cheerleaders. They are from SC, not too far from me. I don't have a favorite team.

Re: The Amazing Race - DISCUSSION thread

Was it just me, or did you guys see Rob/Kim riding on the motorbikes also?? They showed Erwin/Goodwin being offered a ride and the voiceover made an effort to tell us that they were not allowed to. Then they showed us Tom/Terry,and I was certain Rob/Kim riding on motorbikes, so I figured they would both be penalized an hour or so........but Rob/Kim was not! Why not?? Will we have to wait until next week to see what happens, or did they just not notice it? LOL....or was I seeing things?

Re: The Amazing Race - DISCUSSION thread

Is anyone else disliking the Sunday time slot? For the past 2 weeks it has been delayed because of football. Well come 9 pm I watch Desperate Housewives. So I have missed probably 30 minutes each week of The Amazing Race and then have to look it up on the internet to see who got kicked off.

I didn't see Rob/Kim on a motorcyle. I don't think there's anyway it would have got past the production team if it had happened.

I don't like the Sunday time slot. I am always forgetting it's on. My sister calling and reminding me the last few weeks saved me from missing it.

Re: The Amazing Race - DISCUSSION thread

Yeah, that is very true! And my recorder is not working perfect these days....so its no guarantee it will tape. I don't remember when they were on last season, but I assume they weren't both on Sunday?

My recorder isn't working right either or I would record it. I need a dvr
The past few seasons AR has been on on Tuesday nights. That was much better. We forget every week too until I happen to look at the internet and then see it is coming on.

Re: The Amazing Race - DISCUSSION thread

Hi all, just reading back over the board. I agree with you chipper, I like the Miss America team, they seem confident but not stuck up so far. I'm also really starting to like the brothers, that was nice how they took time to pay respects in Vietnam on last nights episode. The only group I really don't like is Rob and Kim, too much incessant bickering, blah!

Re: The Amazing Race - DISCUSSION thread

I know that I saw a guy and girl getting a motor bike ride, not just sure if it was Rob and Kim because I don't have them all completely sorted out yet.
