Welcome to Season 10 of The Amazing Race!

The season is scheduled to premiere on CBS on Sunday (9/17) at 8:30PM (EST). During this season, I will post weekly questions about the teams or any aspect of the show worthy of asking about. Each question will have a determined point value. The object of this contest is to give correct answers to obtain the highest point total at the end of the season.

In order to give everyone enough time to spot this contest and join before it begins, there won't be any questions due prior to the premiere. I will try to have the weekly questions posted by Tuesday evening for the upcoming week. The deadline to email me your answers at WhaddaDeal006 @ dealofday.com (no spaces) will be Fridays by 11:59 PM (EST). If you are not able get into email, you may also PM (Private Message) me here if needed. Please always try to put your DOD screen name in your emails as well.

All returning and new contestants are welcome to join in on the fun. You are welcome to join in at any time throughout the season, but of course the later you join, the less points you have the opportunity to obtain.

I hope you enjoyed tonight's show! Now for our first twist.....for this question, you will not email/PM the answer to me. Our friend, the wonderful Moderator, katlnhats has agreed to receive your answer (for this question only).

The Question: Which team will win The Amazing Race?

Now, we've already answered this question last week, but here is where the twist comes in. You have up to the entire season to answer this question, but you must submit your answer by 11:59 PM (EST) the night before the final show. The catch is that your point value for the question will be determined based on what order you submit your answer. The first person to respond will have the potential to earn 13 points, second 11, third 9, fourth 7, fifth 5, sixth 3, and seventh 1 point. And nobody will know when anyone else has made a guess.

Your strategy is to determine the most optimal time for you to make your guess. Guess too early and your odds of being correct are lower; guess too late and your points awarded may be minimal. Good luck with your guess and strategy. And again, please PM katlnhats (only once) with your answer. You may only send her your answer once, and you may not change your answer after you have sent it.

FYI: There are 7 of us participiating in this contest. Looks like almost all of us have predicted Tyler/James to finish first this round. And about half of us don't expect the LynDuo to survive this round baring a non-elimination round, which is due to happen. Peter, Erwin, Lyn look like our favorites to compete in the roadblock. And I'm sorry to say that according to a commercial I saw the other day, it looks like Rob will be taking place in the roadblock (sorry blurry, momof3, and myself), but I couldn't tell which beauty it was that they showed. Way to go momof3girls! Not only the only one to get either the first or last team to pit correct, but momof3girls answered them both correctly! More than doubling her up-to-date tally for the week, momof3girls has also taken the overall lead.
