 Fifth Set of Questions (10/22+) Hello all! Here is the Fifth Set of Questions along with a few questions that will be calculated along with the sixth set. You need to answer all 11 of these questions by this week's deadline. The deadline for these answers is Friday (10/20) by 11:59 PM (EST). Please email them to me at WhaddaDeal006 @ dealofday.com (no spaces). I'll send my answers to Pennywise this week. Fifth Set of Questions [Yes or No] Will Dustin/Kandice complete the detour before Tyler/James? (2 points) [Yes or No] Will Kimberly, Sarah, or Mary complete the roadblock? (2 points) [Yes or No] Will either a fast forward or a yield be used in this episode? (2 points) [Yes or No] Will David/Mary be eliminated? (2 points) How many teams will arrive at the pit stop during the 30-minute penalty of David/Mary? (3 points) [void if no penalty is given] Which team will complete the next leg of the race in second place? (4 points) [void if tie for first] Which one of these teams [Erwin/Godwin, Rob/Kimberly, Peter/Sarah] will arrive at the pit stop before the other two? (2 points) Who will be the first team to complete the detour? (4 points) You need to answer these questions as well.... FOR THE EPISODE TO BE AIRED ON 10/29: (I will add these answers to the sixth question set for next week.) [Yes or No] Will the detour involve water as a MAJOR focal point (e.g. swimming, carrying, sailing, etc.) (2 points) [Yes or No] Will any team switch detour challenges (i.e. participate in one detour then switch to the other)? Well done Hattielee and kayemjay for a close 2nd. Well folks, the race (our race that is) is getting very close again! Hattielee has regained the lead by only 2 points over half of the rest of us. There is a four-way tie for 2nd place! Great job everyone!! Also, I am periodically going back to our previous questions for those that have now been answered, such as the fast forward. Please email them to me at WhaddaDeal006 @ dealofday.com (no spaces). Sixth Set of Questions 1. Which team will complete the roadblock first? (3 points) 2. Which team will complete the detour last? (3 points) 3. Which team will be elminated? (4 points) 4. Which team will arive at the pit stop first? (4 points) 5. Which team will arive at the pit stop third? (3 points) 6. [Yes or No] Will any team receive a time penalty (as shown to us on TV) this episode? (2 points) 7. Choose as many teams still in the race as you wish. Rank them in order of how they will finish the race: worst to best. You must choose at least two teams. (earn 2 points for every team choosen; if any order is incorrect, you will receive NO points for this question. It's an "all or nothing" score.) (e.g. If you had guessed Vipul/Arti;Tom/Terry;David/Mary you would win 6 points. | 7th Set of Questions Since I was unable to watch this past week's show and it sounds like things are going to be mixed up on the next show, I am just asking these (hopefully) easy to judge questions for next week's (11/5/06) show: 1. Choose a team who will arrive at the Pit Stop first. (3 points) 2. Choose a team who will arrive at the Pit Stop last. (3 points) 3. If the teams break into groups of two teams, which "six-pack" team will be without a "six-pack" team? Again, sorry, and thanks a bunch to kayemjay! This actually brings up a good point I was going to mention but have not as of yet. I strongly encourage you to go back over your point totals and make sure that they are correct--both the weekly points awarded as well as the total point tally. At the end of the contest, I will go back and double check the actual point total of the person listed with the highest point total. If it is correct, then s/he will be declared the winner of the contest and prize. Please let me know of any discrepencies you may find in your point totals, and also keep an eye on me to make sure all the answers I post are correct as well! Thanks!!!
