Hopefully it'll be a great show (and season)! It will be interesting to see how the contestants themselves react to the method used to split them.

Hi All, lookin forward to this season of Survivor.....I'm diggin the older asian guy so far....

I was having some difficulty trying to figure out which face goes with which name...or even which face goes with which face (from the pictures on the website). Their named "portraits" didn't help me on some of them in the group picture.

If you are needing some help like me (I taped the show, so was able to replay the beginning to get their names), here are their names in accordance with where they are located in the group photo (including the tribes' names).

I like him too. I laughed so hard when he did that stuff to the other guys head and left that huge mark.

Did you all notice there seems to be a lot of actors on this time. If you read through their bios, a lot of them have been on different tv shows or in movies. The guy kicked off last night said on The Early Show that he was recruited. I just don't think that is fair for the ordinary people that really want to be on the show and aren't giving the chance.

I heard Jeff Probst say that the majority of people who apply for Survivor are caucasian. I think they probably had to recruit to get a diverse cast.

Yeah, I heard him say that too...about mostly white applicants. But...if the actor thing is true (if they are sought after....more so than using other applications such as Amazing Race tapes), it's hard to believe that they couldn't find FIVE worthy people that actually applied for Survivor?

And about the Karma.....personally, I would have WANTED to go to Exile Island.....how else do you get a change to win IMMUNITY for almost the entire show?? I'd be like, "Pick Me! Pick Me!"

Ooooh and funny how most of you that have said who you like/favorite/etc is all chose CaoBoi!

Didn't the aerial shot of Exile Island make it look both desolate and tiny to you? Maybe I wasn't seeing the whole thing--and I'll admit that I didn't rewind and look at it again--but it seemed like there wouldn't be all that many places to hide or bury an immunity idol, especially leaving no trace that something had been disturbed. And the exiled person wouldn't have anything else to do but search....

Hopefully they will. They still have another day for Survivor and three days for AR.....maybe just waiting until the deadline

I will try to PM (okay, I have sent PM's to the four people) those that took place in the BB7 contest and see if they wish to participate. As of now, I have received 5 for Survivor & 4 for The Amazing Race.

There will be a prize awarded to (at least) the winner...maybe others as well.

About me? Well.....I'm fairly new here..been around a little while, but only officially for a couple months now. I even brought my GF over to join us: blurry. So everyone be nice to her I'm a teacher and from Indiana. Favorite shows probably are 24, Gilmore Girls, and new show: Eureka.
