Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

Okay. I only get to the library two or three times a week, so I cannot enter the contests in a timely fashion. I am enjoying the shows tho. My favorite team so far is The Asian team, because Yul is smart and a hunk. LOL I think the older guy will get gone, because he gets on everyone's nerves. Did I see in the previews that they change the teams this week? Seems early.
Almost all the girls are, yet again, young and pretty and most of the guys are good looking. They are quickly eliminating the non-workers this time. I think Ozzie cut his own throat tho, by doing his team the way he did.
I will be checking in occasionally to see how everyone is doing....

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

Well now, so much for the secluded racial tribes....didn't last long, huh?

I wonder if it was planned that way, or if it was going to happen once someone won Exile Island immunity? Whatever reason, the Hispanic race appears to be the most trouble at the moment....but anything can change in the game.

I'm interested in seeing what they do with Candice on Exile Island. Will she be searching for a non-existent immunity idol? Will they inform her it has been found? Will they replace it with something?

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

Yeah, the race seperations didn't last very long at all. I figured they would have kept it going for at least another episode or two. Yul and Becky seem tight, a possible love connection perhaps? At least a strong alliance, so far.

LOL who knows, he did really help save her on the previous show....so, yeah, definitely something there--alliance or whatever

JP apparenlty was blindsighted last night.........and he was my pick to go all the way!!!! Oh well, I didn't really like him....or his bro-mate: Ozzy. Maybe he'll be next!

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

Well finally it gets interesting. Looks like nobody told Nathan everyone was voting for J.P.

The bird incident really upset me. I realize they are " living off the land" but in my opinion that was interfering with nature. There is no way any of them should be allowed to disturb a nesting bird.

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

I was away for a few days so missed answering the questions. But I haven't given up. I watched the tape of show last night. Nice to see that the girls have sense enough to try to keep their majority numbers.I think that it would be foolish of the tribe to send Ozzie home. He seems to be the main supplier of food and is a very strong swimmer which helps in the types of challenges they have.

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

Yeah kayemjay, unfortunately Ozzy did seem to be a good swimmer (and JP, well, wasn't;p)......I really don't like the guy...so maybe they'll boot him anyways lol

I liked JP at first, but the more shows I watched, the less I liked him. Bad choices for the Hispanic race it seems (and they are dwindling fast!).

I agree. I'm just glad they didn't eat the birds!

I really like Ozzy.

What was Stephannie thinking?? You NEVER give people a reason to vote you off. It was totally NOT her fault that they lost the challenge. She got lucky.

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

I really like Ozzy too. From reading his profile he is a great Survivor contestant...great swimmer, hunter, fisherman, etc....I hope he lasts. On a side note, I read in one of the mags I get that Ozzy was in an adult movie!! I don't like Jonathon.

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

Oops , I guess I had a senior moment this week. I realized too late that I hadn't answered the questions. Oh well, I don't really care about my score , I just love the program. I will be off on another trip so you will all have a chance to get far ,far ahead of me. Good luck all.

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

Wow! They are mixing things up! That was a surprising mutiny. I don't think it will work to Jonathan's advantage.

Also...does this mean there will be 10 people on the jury now??

Re: Survivor: Cook Island - DISCUSSION thread

I think that Jonathan was more scared that he would be the main target for eviction from Aitu, so he hoped that re-joining the white race (4 members strong) would be his best option. Had he remained, he might have outlasted Ozzy...and depending on when the merge occurred, he might or might not have made it. Who knows?

Not sure what is up with the jury....there may be more to it than we realize at this time? Maybe the final will come down to three people, not just two? or maybe we all (collectively) get to cast one vote?
