Thumbs up Treasure Hunters

Has anyone seen this show? I have been meaning to watch it but kept forgetting it was on until this past monday and I saw 1.5 episodes. they played last weeks and then had a new one for this week on and I missed the beginning of last weeks. It was really good. It is like Amazing Race but it is in the US and they have to figure out clues about where to go and what they are looking for. Plus they are collecting artifacts at the last spot they go to on each show and they will use all the artifacts at the end to find the key to open the treasure.

I hope I remember to watch the show on Mondays and that it keeps being really good.

Karen

ps it is on NBC here is the link to the nbc site for the show.

Re: Treasure Hunters

Yes we are watching Treasure Hunters and really like the show. I'm so glad the Wild Hanlons lost last week. They were so dumb I can't believe they got as far as the did. The dad with the mullet gave people with a mullet a bad name. LOL (My son had a mullet the last two years of high school.) The dad was also not nice to the Browns. It was very nice that the son told one of the Browns he was sorry. The team I don't like it the Fogles (sp?). He is some kind of a minister but they play very dirty. In one of the shows they were diving for something and a girl from another team came up with the box and he grabbed it out of her hands and left. Another time a group felt bad for them when they had to carry a canoe over land and the daughter was crying that she couldn't. One of them helped carry the canoe for them. Then they turned on them right away. They said that they were Fogeled. LOL Now all but one team are out to get them. The previews show the daughter crying again so I hope its something she can't do and nobody helps them.

Re: Treasure Hunters

I went to the site and read the recaps on the shows. The fogel daughter seems kinda wimpy like she can't do anything. Even on the site they make the dad seem unsympathetic. They said the mom and daughter wanted to pray for what they did and the father gave them a look and let them pray. You would htink he would be extra alert to his behaviour being a minister of some type. it is going to look bad even if it is the way the show is portraying him.

great show though.

Re: Treasure Hunters

I love this show. It has a really cool concept. It reminds me a lot of geocaching.

Re: Treasure Hunters

rafala one time they did something to a team that had just helped them and the mom asked if she should pray for the other teams. (Not sure if this was the same time you were talking about). Then she prayed for her own family only. LOL I guess there has to be a team that you love to hate.

Re: Treasure Hunters

I have been watching it too , but for some reason my cable channel skipped one of the episodes.I don't care much for the Fogels either. They make such a big show of praying but then they back stab the other teams. I am finding it hard to sort out who is who on this show. But guess I'll "get it" by the time its over.

Re: Treasure Hunters

ok, that kayte has to go. i can see why the mom came back but she really shouldnt have. I am hoping they are really showing the awful side of the group but she seems like s he is a spoiled brat and whines about everything.

If the browns can figure out where they are going they may still be in the game. they will get a 3 hour catch up on them, i wonder how far behind they really are now? I wonder if the geniuses will go back for Sam?? I think that would be rude not to discuss it before hand but to just make the decision and not show up. That would piss me off big time.

I hope i remember to watch next week, going on vacation, but if i forget i will just watch both episodes the next week and get 2 hours of new showing

Re: Treasure Hunters

I'm not sure that the Browns have found any clues yet. They didn't show them finding any, just walking and walking. I think they may only be a little brighter then the Wild Hanlons. LOL I like the Fogels a little better this week. I didn't think they would come back for their dd. She was horrible. I thought it was funny when the guy on the other team would say things about all her crying. I wonder what she thinks about herself when she watches the show. I agree she does look like a spoiled brat. I think I would bet with someone that the geniuses will not be back. I can't wait for next week.

Re: Treasure Hunters

I guess I'm lucky that nobody took me up on my bet about the Geniuses not coming back. LOL I'm liking the Fogle parents better now but that girl only gets worse. I wish they had a camera in their home as they watch the show to see her reaction. Air Force sure had luck on their side when it came to the digging part.
