Big Brother discussion thread

In an effort to keep the contest thread relatively easy to read quickly, please do not make comments on that thread. Leave it for my posts of questions and scores. Post any comments about the show on this thread.

Please note that I have revised the contest rules slightly to go along with what I found out last night while watching the show: that only 6 of the contestants will be chosen by the public, and it will be 3 men and 3 women.

I tried to write down my 6 picks last night while watching the show. I had a hard time deciding between the people I loved during the show and those I loved to hate, whom I am sure will make the show more fun to watch. I think there is potential for alot of fighting and backstabbing and lying from these people. Plus I am sure the women will be hanging out in bikinis the whole time and we will be treated (?) to the sight of all those implants over and over. This is not my favorite show, but I think it will provide a nice diversion during this long hot summer.

I think this season will be the best ever. I'm hoping that the people that we all loved to hate get in there together. There is definately going to be lots of drama.

There are a couple or three that I have no desire to see again but they are most likely the ones who will get picked.I couldn't stand Howie, he was so rude and crude ,especially to April .If I were smart, these are the types that I should choose but I think that I will go with the ones that I liked.

I think Nakomis will be voted off.
Kaysar made a big mistake IMO by not putting up Will & Boogie.

I think Nakomis will be the one to go, mainly because she is a bit of an oddball and doesn't try to fit in. Is Big Brother trying to copy Fearfactor with the gross things they are making them do? No one should have to dip their heads into a bowl of slop and pull out dead rats with their teeth. That was really disgusting.

I think they should have stuck with peanut butter and jelly. That slop stuff is gross. And humiliating. I think the next few weeks will be interesting, as we see how the alliances fair. Jase is playing smarter this time around. Will is a crazy guy. Diane will probably cry her way into staying. Nakomis is not long for this game I think.
My favorite so far is Will. He is just plain nuts.
My least favorite is Howie. He is very juvenile. No change for him.
Kaysar is a mystery to me. I do not know why he nominated the people he nominated. They were no threat to anyone at this point. Why not target someone strong?

I have to say that I'm really enjoying the All-Stars! I just started watching BB during season #5, so I'm still getting to know many of the players. Will is a trip! I love his "I'm probably lying" t-shirt....

I'm such a geek that I actually subscribed to Real Superpass so I could watch the live feeds! So far, I've seen some pretty decent strategy sessions with James in the HOH bedroom, but mostly, it reveals how very boooring it must be to spend 24/7 with the same people and no outside sources of entertainment. A lot of the time, they're basically just lying around making idle conversation. Oh, and they cuss. A LOT! And, not to be crude, but some of them also fart and make jokes about it. I teach middle school, and a few of these players have got nothin' on my students! Anyway, it's giving me a whole new perspective. And I'm not so sure that's all good!! (I'll continue watching anyway, though. )

One word of caution: please do not share any relevant information (who is gunning for whom etc) that you see on the live feed. We do not watch it here and enter the contests, as it MIGHT provide an unfair advantage in the contest.
Well, I missed the show on Sunday. I understand Will and George are nominated. I am not surprised. I continue to love the way Will is playing the game, but I wonder if it will backfire this week.
I am looking forward to the immunity challenge tonight. I hope Will wins.LOL

Chippers--On Sunday night you missed how they showed how George is the housekeeper of the group. He is always vacuuming, cleaning, cooking, doing dishes, etc. The man poses no threat to anyone. He seems to have no alliance or plan or anything.

Don't worry, guys--no live-feed spoilers!!! (I hate that myself, even if it doesn't give an unfair advantage in a contest or whatever. I like watching things unfold....)

While I came in as a BB6 fan, I gotta admit that Chilltown is really growing on me. The evil Dr. Will is a master strategist. He's a risk-taker because he just doesn't care (or very successfully gives the impression that he doesn't), and I'm laughing my fanny off right along with him and Boogie. (Their simulated phone conversations in the diary room are absolutely hilarious!)

I agree! Unlike many (or so they claim), I was a fan of Will during season 2. I also was a fan of Season 6. I love those phone coversations too! Very funny...I even was mocking them (in a good way) last night!

Not sure what Janie was doing.....but I'm wondering how much James is really straying from Season6--eventhough he does have a history of this....we'll see.

Who are the people y'all "love to hate" I don't know that I've ever had (reality show or otherwise) someone that I love to hate.

Will is great! I am rooting for him!

I hate the HOH competitions where you have to wait to find out who wins!!
