I saw a commercial for this yesterday -- this is one of the few that sounds really good so I'll be checking it out.

Re: Summer 2005 Reality Shows

I don't think I saw it listed up there, but they're supposed to have a show like American Idol, but it's dancing instead of singing?

I'm looking forward to that one.

The Cut might be interesting to watch, but not really interested in the rest.

It was the last one on Shaina's list:

Dancing With the Stars

I agree with others, might check out Hit Me Baby One More Time. Other than that I think I'll take a summer reality break. I hope the success of shows like Desperate Housewives, Lost, Grey's Anatomy and House will cause the networks to turn back to regular programming. I enjoy Survivor, Amazing Race and American Idol and can tolerate The Apprentice but it is ridiculous the stuff they are coming up with trying to capitalize on the reality craze.

I was looking forward to the dance competition too, and for some reason I thought it was different than dancing with the stars.

Re: Summer 2005 Reality Shows

There is another dance one on Fox, I beleive, that is like American Idol. The commercials show an overweight man dancing and make a comment about 2 left feet. This could be good but dancing can be subjective I think. I am not crazy about "street dancing" but so me people love that.

I think the music one tonight could be interesting.

Re: Summer 2005 Reality Shows

Did anyone watch Hit Me Baby One More Time last night? I caught part of it....it was a bit cringe-worthy but I enjoyed seeing Arrested Development and Tiffany again. I may check it out next week...Vanilla Ice will be on!

Another reality show this summer not listed here is called Beauty and the Geek. It's on the WB and pairs pretty and dumb girls with nerdy and smart guys. Surprisingly, it's kind of sweet...

I watched most of show Blue..the british announcer & his smile is just so corny..had never heard of arrested development before-unique style. I've seen Vanilla Ice doing some type of hosting on E! or one of those shows.
