The Amazing Race 7 contest
For this contest I have decided everyone will start with 50 points. Each week you will be able to add to your points. AND each week you are vulnerable to lose some of your points.

Adding points: Choose three teams that you think will do well in Amazing Race. At least one team must be made up of a man and a woman,at least one team must be made up of two of the same sex (two men or two women) If you are brave enough to choose any of the following for your team, for each week they survive you add 10 points to your score: Megan/Heidi, Meredith/Gretchen, Susan/Patrick, or Debbie/Bianca. For each of the other teams you add 5 points to your score each week they survive. When one of your teams is eliminated from the race, you lose any earning power for that team and must continue in the game with only 2 teams, and finally with just one. You are still in the game, however, until you lose all your points.

Losing points: Each week I will ask 3-4 true/false questions. You must answer all the questions. For each question that you get correct, nothing happens to your points. For each question you miss, you lose 5 points from your total. (If you are unable to answer the questions any week, I will automatically make your answers: 1.true 2. false 3. true 4. false. Who knows-you might do better than everyone else!)

It is possible that the scores will go very high. It is also possible that the scores will go so low that we run out of points. If that happens, the last person to have any points left will be our winner.

The prize will be a $10 Blockbuster, Target, Walmart, or Caribou gc.


This show starts Tuesday, March 1, so get your guesses in by noon of that day. You may enter after the first weeks show, but you will only be allowed 2 teams to make you points if you wait. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Here are our 4 true-false questions for the first show:
1. No same sex team will finish in the top 3 this week.
2. The two all girl teams will finish out of the top 5 this week.
3. Rob and Amber will finish 6th or better this week.
4. Meredith and Gretchen will finish last this week.

Something is wrong with DOD. There have been alot more viewers of this thread than are shown. Anyway...get your guesses in quick. This contest starts Tuesday. I cannot wait to see how Rob/Amber do with everyone else "gunning" for them. They will never receive help from the other teams, and that could be a major handicap.
