Survivor 10 Contest Rules:
1. The prize will be a $10 Target, Blockbuster, or Walmart gc.
2. The winner will be the person who accumulates the most points.
3. You may answer all the questions below before you even see the first show. If you do you will earn 12 bonus points to start the contest.
4. You may change up to 10 of your guesses after the first show, but you lose 1 bonus point for each guess you change. If any of your guesses are eliminatad in the first show, you will be able to replace them, but each replacement still costs you 1 bonus point.
5. You may wait until after the first show to enter, but you will earn 0 bonus points.
6. To enter the contest you must submit your guesses by the deadline for the second show, which will be 12 Noon EST of the day of the second show.
7. No additional questions will be added during Survivor 10, Palau. This will make it easier for me to edit the scores each week AND do an Amazing Race contest.
8. Whenever you notice a mistake (I do make them) please let me know asap at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] All guesses are submitted to that e-mail as well. Comments should be made on the Survivor Palau thread.
9. All the questions will be listed on the next entry, so that you may copy them and answer. Note the 3 different sections of questions and the scoring explanations.
10. Your 10 changes must be distributed between your part A and part B guesses. Part C answer will be determined the first week so answer it as soon as possible.

Scoring: 2 points for each correct guess. Changes to your guesses may be made after the first show, but they cost you 1 point.

Section B:
Choose 5 Survivors that you think will do well in Survivor Palau. Your 5 Survivors must include at least 2 women and at least 2 men. Your 5 Survivors must include at least 1 person 39 or over.
Scoring: Every time one of your 5 Survivors is part of a challenge winning team you will score 2 points. Every time one of your 5 Survivors wins an individual challenge (not if they are chosen to share a reward) you score 5 points. Your 5 Survivors will also score 1 point each week they survive. If you have the ultimate winner on your team you will score 10 bonus points.
Changes to your team of 5 may be made after the first show, but they cost you one point per change.

Section C: Choose a Survivor you think will exit Survivor Palau early in the show.
Scoring/ rules: When your choice leaves Survivor for any reason, you win 5 points, AND you may replace your pick for the next show, making you eligible for another 5 points. The faster you are able to pick the losers, the more points you will accumulate.
You MAY NOT replace this choice until they are eliminated. But you may make this choice after the first show if you wish. (You will lose your chance for the 5 points for the first show if you wait, and I understand that 3 will leave during the first show, so you may wish to attempt a guess.)

I am compiling the points scored for the first show, but I have to meet a friend to exercise this morning, so I will not finish until later today.
Let me tell you what will happen.
Each of you will get 10 points just for entering early.
Added to that 10 points will be:
2 points if you had Coby as the Texan who survives the longest, for Section A, Question #8.
5 points if you had Wanda getting kicked off early, for Section C.
1 point for each of your Section B choices who survived.
2 points for each of your Section B choices who were on the winning tribe for the immunity challenge.
5 points for picking Yolanda or Ian on your Section B team, since they won individual immunity early on.

You may now pick up to 10 different responses for Sections A and B. Question #8 in Section B does not qualify, as the winner has already been determined. This IS the only point in our contest where you may change your guesses, so good luck. For Section C, many of you need to make a replacement guess to stay optimize your point-making opportunities.

Everyone received 3 points each for every member of their B team who survived the show. (2 for being on either the winning reward tribe or 2 for being on the winning immunity tribe AND 1 point for surviving) Pennywise received just 2 points for Ashlee's being on the reward winning team.
Everyone who had Kim for Question #9 received 2 points. Question #9 is now retired. Momof3girls received 5 points for picking Ashlee to get booted for Section C. She is the only one who may make a new guess for Section C for next week.

Important Announcement:
For this contest I stated in the rules that you could change members of your Section B team if you desired to do so, after the first show. I meant to imply that you could replace eliminated Section B guesses. Very few of you took advantage of this option, so I will allow you to do so for one more week. It will still cost you just 1 point to replace unwanted or eliminated Section B team members. Section B is a very big point-getter, so I think it would pay to have 5 Survivors on your list.
Rule reminder:
Your 5 Survivors must include at least 2 women and at least 2 men. Your 5 Survivors must include at least 1 person 39 or over.
