Amazing Race 6 : Let's discuss it!

In case you missed it, on "The Early Show" this morning Adam got a haircut. He let the weatherman cut off his "antennae". I've been wanting to do that all season.

I remind myself over and over when I am watching Amazing Race, that these people are under unbelieveable pressure to succeed at each task and move on quickly. That helps me tolerate the frustration scenes when they holler at each other or talk about giving up. I know myself, that if I was trying to open 3000 locks and my hands started bleeding, that I would be more than a little frustrated. This seasons Amazing Race was disappointing to me for two reasons: too many people were eliminated by the bad luck of having poor cab drivers/ and too few of the good teams made it far in the race.

Did you all see the commercial for dr phil? next tuesday night he is doing a special and jonathon and victoria are going to be on it and discuss their relationship and what everyone saw on the amazing race.

Did you see kendra having a hard time eating her pizza. she is sooooo skinny I bet that was killing her, thinking of all the calories and eating all that food, which is probably a normal amount for an average person.

I really wanted kris and jon to win. they always seemed so with it and connected. They are a match made in heaven i think, a lot like don and maryjean the older couple.

i can't beleive the next one starts in only 3 weeks and survivor starts next week!!! wow, I am going to be in heaven with both shows going on

I can't believe that Kris and Jon didn't check for themselves what time the other flight arrived. Did any of the shows say how far behind Freddy and Kendra they were at the end?

Jon and Kris are no longer "dating long distance". They are living together now. Maybe they are a match made in heaven.

According to what was said on The Early Show this morning they did check and were told that was the earliest flight to arrive. As it turns out their plane was early and Freddy and Kendra's was late so although Freddie and Kendra should have arrived I believe they said 35 minutes earlier it was actually only 7 minutes.

oh yeah for kris and jon. they really are an awesome couple together.

as for how close together the two teams were, i dont think they could have been that far apart becuase freddy and kendra took the cab that kris and john got out of at the pizza place. soo, how ever long it took to eat the pizza, get a new cab and wait for that stupid train!!!. I say they were probably within a half hour maybe more. a pretty close finish i think.

On the Early Show today Phil said that the season following the next race will be families of 4 competing. Sounds interesting.

How about when Kendra said they were not going to be nice any more they were just going to win. I never thought of those two as nice. Liz you did a great job, I can't believe how many points you ended up with. I can't wait for the next contest.

I don't know how far behind Jon/Kris were from finishing first. That is a good question.


I noticed the same thing about the pizza, Rafala. I mean, geez, the pizza wasn't even that big!!

I did not see the Early Show....any other interesting relevations?
