Wow that's a little excessive IMO. I mean they love to bunch people up and then they give them these ridiculous luck of the draw tasks...I guess I like more "fair" takes like rock climbing, etc. that rely ONLY on ur abilites and not some luck of the draw. It just makes me mad and AR loses some credibility in my book because of it.

Was there an episode tonight?!? I looked at the TV Listings online and it said college basketball and the show isn't on any of the sites I download from!!

Well I downloaded the episode and it was great.

Kris and John are my favorite team. They are such nice people and she is HOT. Wow, the best looking of all the racers for sure. They are dating...I wouldn't be surprised if they get married because they just seem like the perfect couple. I haven't heard them say a cross word to each other once. And they were the only team that didn't seem to whine or freak out about being in Africa at night, in fact I think Kris said it was cool. Good, positive attitude which is nice compared to some of the other teams. When you think about it, it's probably MORE safe traveling to these places as part of a reality show than going for fun, you know? I'm sure the cameramen have phones and the producers are probably close by.

It is sure funny to see the different personalities.Some, like Victoria and Jonathan seem to hate each other. Adam and Rebecca are almost as bad. Don and Mary Jean quite obviously love each other dearly,but they are running out of strength.Then there are Bolo and Lori who talk nasty to each other but you can still see the love and care they have for each other. Jon and Kris,Aaron and Hayden and Freddie and Kendra are all kind and show their partners the respect they deserve.

Kendra sure showed her true colors in this episode:

Jonathan looked like a downright angel compared to that annoying Kendra, who spent her day grumbling about the disgusting ''jalopy'' she had to ride in and insulting a poor taxi driver who wanted another $10 on top of the $30 he was just paid. ''Its more than he makes in a year!'' whined Ms. Tolerant. Um, Kendra? You may choose to starve yourself, but this is a country that's literally dying to eat. Fork over some cash, already or you may supplant Jonathan as Race's latest insulting and intolerable ignoramus.

By the way, I've now got the M.O. on the typical Rebecca and Adam fight: Bicker bicker bicker. Her: ''You're bugging me.'' Him: ''You want me to [insert situationally appropriate suicide plan, like jumping in front of a train or jumping off a boat]?'' Her: ''Yes, please do so immediately.'' And so on and so on. Actually, I think Adam should threaten to have Rebecca — as opposed to his mommy — start cutting his toenails. That would scare her straight.

The show on Tuesday made Jonathon seem almost like a nice guy! Adam is a big crying baby. It's hard to believe Rebecca even dated him.

Tell me about it, Adam is such a wuss. I have never seen a guy get so whiny/emotional/dramatic as him! Those two are like watching an episode of Dawson's Creek or any of those dumb teen dramas.

I have decided that if there is anyone I don't want to win it is Kendra. How horrible the remarks she made about the people in Africa "breeding" How rude and insensitive.I really admired the group for pitching in and giving Don and Mary Jean some of their money.That was really nice and didn't hurt them in the long run as they still had enough left to continue. And Don and MJ were ready to go home in my opinion. They were both beginning to look exhausted.

Holy COW! Jon lost it (he can't run with a bag?? what a wuss!!) and then Victoria started ranting and raving like a lunatic! That guy is a class-A @$$hole and I can't believe he pushed her right before the pitstop. They GOT IN 2 BLEEPING SECONDS after the first team it does NOT matter that much! I just want to smack him what a JERK.

And Kendra's little comment about "they just keep breeding in this poverty." I lost every ounce of respect for her...talk about a spoiled B|TCH. I hope they lose it.

I totally agree crazytimes! If I was that cab driver, I would have stopped and kicked Kendra right out

I wish the police would have seen Jonathan push Victoria, maybe they would have done something. Phil should have said a little more than "I think you should go talk to Victoria." They were downright out of control.

Ok, I have to take back my comment from last week about Jonathan. He is a major @ss!! I think Phil or the producers, someone should say something to him for the way he treats his wife and others.

They really should. Not only does her verbally abuse his wife and others, in this episode he pushed her and if he pushes her in public, who knows what he does when they aren't in public.

I feel really bad for her...why would anyone stay with someone like that??

Good show this week! Seems like the same teams are doing well. Rebecca/Adam and Lori/Bolo are in trouble IMO.


From my new fav. tv site www.ew.com/tvwatch: My original thesis that life is unfair brings us to the episode's conclusion. While the kind and loving Don and Mary Jean struggled to find an enormous statue in the middle of Berlin, the two teams battling it out for first place were the two most unpleasant in the race. We had Kendra, who had proclaimed in Senegal, ''This city is just wretched and disgusting. And they just keep breeding and breeding.'' And just when you thought, ''I'd never root for her,'' she ends up battling it out against the deeply disturbing Jonathan and Victoria, who are starting to look more and more like claymation figures. When your only choices as to whom to root for in a footrace are these two teams, you find yourself cheering for shinsplints.

But Jonathan reached a whole new level of psychosis, even physically pushing Victoria at the end and screaming at her more in front of Phil, which so bothered our host that he broke tradition and said more than ''You're team number _____.'' Our finish-line therapist told Jonathan that he should talk to Victoria, and Jonathan took that suggestion and went over to browbeat her some more. Thanks, Phil, I almost let that one lie! Now where was I? Oh yeah, you're useless and I hate you and you're killing me. . . .

Earlier in the race, when Victoria had told Jonathan to leave her alone, he said, ''I never promised I'd leave you alone. That's why I married you.'' I think he meant it romantically, but instead it sounded like the kind of thing a psychotic husband says in a horror movie just before he kills his wife with a garden hoe. If Don had said it to Mary Jean, it would have come off a lot more touching, but there'll be none of that: Those two lovebirds have been put on a fast plane home. There's no room for that kind of sensitivity on The Amazing Race.
