And now I have an announcement: Hattielee has very graciously stated to me that she has won so many times she just wants to play for the fun of it and leave the prize for someone else. I just want to try to be Hattielee (lol) So....neither of us qualifies to win the prize for this contest. That means that many of you are right actually in the lead for the prize, or very close. Just glancing, it looks like ShainaT is our current leader, with yankeechic,Kells3, and crazytimes just behind her, and kayjay 1 behind them. One Racer is injured during a Detour, and the teammate shows no concern, which shocks the other Teams.

A mistake reading a clue affects one Team's ability to complete a task. Will this jeopardize their position in the Race?

An encounter with some local children brings one Racer to tears.

One Racer is frustrated that his Teammate helped another Team, which leads to a much deeper discussion about the future of their relationship.

Questions for Tuesday, January 18:
1.Which team makes a mistake reading a clue?
2.Which Racer cries during or after an encounter with local children?
3.Who helps another team, frustrating her teammate?
4.Who will come in first this segment?
Bonus: Will Hayden/Aaron get out of last place this week? Yes or No

In a couple cases I did not receive guesses and used lasts weeks as much as possible. When I was reading Crazytimes guesses I took the female he listed from #2 for the answer and his first choice for #3, as it calls for just one person. In an Olympic-style event, one Racer smokes the competition.
Tension continues to rise for one Team as one member is on the brink of quitting the Race.
A fear of heights plagues one Racer, who breaks into tears while racing through a Detour. Will fear keep her from completing the task?
Some Team members make a crucial mistake reading a clue.

Questions for Tuesday, January 25:
1.Pick one, two, or three teams you feel sure will not finish in last place this week. If you pick 1 and you are correct you get 1 point. If you pick 2 and you are correct you get 3 points. If you pick 3 and you are correct you get 7 points.
2.Pick the next team to finish in last place, regardless of whether or not it is an elimination round.
3. Guess which racer smokes the competition.
4. Guess which team has so much tension that one nearly quits the race.
5. Which female racer has such a fear of heights that she may or may not complete the task?
6. Will Hayden and Aaron keep first place this week?

No bonus question because we have extra questions and the possibility of more points for #1 if you are brave AND correct.

The CBS site has not been updated with it's usual tantalizers for this weeks show.
So the questions for this week are:
1. Who will finish first this week?
2. Who will finish last this week?
3. Will Rebecca declare once again that she and Adam are "finished" after they finish this race?
4. Predict the complete order of finish this week for 3 points. List your picks from first to last. You score 0 if you get any of them wrong. Your guesses do not have to agree with those you chose for #1 and #2.
