Re: Survivor discussion thread

Now this was a good show tonight. I was wondering how long they would let Ami call the shots. I was so sure that one of the women would chicken out and vote with Ami. Yea, next weeks show looks like it will be good.

Re: Survivor discussion thread

Leeann was pretty shocked too. She was so sure that they had it all wrapped up as to who was going home. You just don't know until all the votes are cast. Chris could end up winning with Scout, Eliza and Twila on his side. All he needs to do is get rid of Ami and Julie and then start winning challenges.

Re: Survivor discussion thread

Wow!! I was so pleased to see how things turned out. I was afraid that CBS was messing with us again and using choosy editing and all the women would vote Chris out. This is one of those times that I miss working since I have nobody to discuss the show with at home (except you guys of course!)

Gotta give Chris credit. He NEVER tried to persuade the women to vote one way or the other. He just sat back and it all worked out. I do find it funny that LeAnn was the one who wanted to get rid of Eliza and save Chris for another week. What finally got Twila off her duff and formulating another plan? I was so impressed.

If Chris can make it to the final two than I think he can definitely win it all. Sarge and Chad will definitely vote for him and at least two of the other women will be mad at whatever woman is left in the final two for backstabbing them. Should be interesting!!

Re: Survivor discussion thread

WOW, i was really worried at tribal council that Eliza was changing her mind. It could have been the cameras but chris looked like he was worried also. It really makes sense to keep scout around, she isnt strong in the physical challenges so if chris, eliza and scout go into the final 3 scout wont win. her knee will knock her out i would think. i'm thinking there is a chance twilla will go next. the next immunity is really, really important.

do you think chris deliberatly picked that boat to go across so that ami wouldnt win? i dont remember if there was another boat her could have crossed or if that was the closest one to him? that was my first impression but i could have been wrong.

i am soooo glad ami is gone. she really was good at giving the guilt trip to eliza and wording things deceptivley. then getting up from the table so they could talk about it. it is almost like she has negotiation skills of some sort. she is very smooth.

I cant beleive we are down to the final few shows!! i always hate when survivor ends. even though a lot of people havent gotten into the contestants as much i really enjoy the dynamics and the ability to survive in the wild with people you dont know and little food for so long and no one tries to strangle or push someone off a cliff.

i am routing for chris in this whole thing. i like him and if he is able to come through it will be really amazing. the guys were being picked off one by one and he is making a place for himself and being smart and staying quiet. he isnt trying to make a pitch for keeping himself. a lot did fall in his lap but i am glad.

go chris!!

I feel the same way. And I think he has a good chance against anyone but Jules in the finals. Ami's little group would vote for him over Scout or Twila and possibly even Eliza, since LeAnn did not like her.

Re: Survivor discussion thread

rafala I agree with you. I was so afraid that Ami's smooth talking got Eliza on her side. I just hoped that she would remember what Chris said about beating Scout and Twilla and stay with them. I am so glad I will not have to see Ami's smug face any more. When she was saying what a nice person she was I wanted to throw up. Nice is not a word I would use to describe her.

Re: Survivor discussion thread

Who would have thought that skinny little Eliza would outswim everyone and win the car. I wouldn't have thought that she had that much stamina but she really came on strong.
I really think that Julie will be the next to go. Chris will want to get rid of the stronger players and Julie should be able to outswim or outrun Twila .Probably she would beat her in a mental challenge as well.

And I hoped Eliza would remember that 3 days before Ami voted for her.

Re: Survivor discussion thread

I was glad to see the conniving and underhanded Ami go. Obviously, Eliza doesn't suffer from a short memory.

Re: Survivor discussion thread

With the crazy editing they use you never know what will end up happening.

Eliza did the right thing. Regardless of what Ami said, Ami did try to vote out Eliza the prior week. The proof is in the pudding.

There was an clip in the paper here about Eliza. She went to Sidwell Friends (the same private school Chelsea Clinton went to) and now is a Sr. at Syracuse heading off to law school in the fall. Her mom wasn't allowed to tell anyone that she went to the set of the show so she told people she was going to Asia. She didn't think anyone really believed her though. All I can say about Eliza is that the GIRL NEEDS TO EAT!! Geez! Could she be any skinnier??
