Big Brother 5 Contest

Crank up those air conditioners, because it promises to be another hot summer in the BIG BROTHER House. Starting Tuesday, July 6th, a group of strangers will live together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As the outside world watches, the HouseGuests will vote each other out, one by one, until only one remains and goes home a half million dollars richer. Watch the drama unfold every Tuesday at 9pm, Thursday at 8pm and Saturday at 9pm ET/PT.

As always, the official BIG BROTHER 5 website will be the place to go for all your BIG BROTHER needs, from live, 24/7 streaming video to inside information about the HouseGuests to the exciting BIG BROTHER Fantasy League. Soon we'll give you the chance to meet the new HouseGuests and find out what they're like just before they move into the BIG BROTHER House.

The above is all I have found so far about Big Brother, but I want to get our very simple contest ready to go, so here is what I have decided will be the contest this time around:

The contest will be for a $10 gc of my choice to the person who scores the most points.

Rules: (Keeping it VERY simple)
1. Pick a houseguest you think will do very well on Big Brother this season (We will refer to your choice as your AAA pick). AND Pick one houseguest you think will be eliminated very quickly this season.(F pick)
2. E-mail me your choices anytime between the day the official website is created for our perusal and NOON EST on July 6th for 10 bonus points to start the game with. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]
3. E-mail me your choices by NOON of the second shows airing for the regular entry deadline.
4. You may replace any eliminated choice for the next show, by e-mailing me your new choice by NOON on the day of the next shows airing. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] You may NOT change your choices until they are eliminated.
5. Scoring:
a. 10 point bonus for each entrant who submits their 2 choices BEFORE the first show airs.
b. No early entry bonus points for regular entries after the July 6th show.
c. Your AAA pick will score you points each week he or she survives elimination as follows: 1 point for each week he or she survives, 3 points for each week he or she becomes head of household.
d. Your AAA pick loses you 3 points when they are eliminated.
e. Your F pick will score you points as follows: 1 point each week he or she is nominated to leave the house, 3 points for elimination.
f. Your F pick does not lose you any points if they are not nominated or eliminated.
g. Additional bonus points will be awarded as follows: 5 points for having your F picks eliminated two weeks in a row. AND 5 points any week your F pick becomes head of household (Just a little illogical twist to spice up the game )
h. No points will be awarded to an entrant who makes a pick before a legal deadline, but that pick has already been chosen head of household or has been nominated for elimination. (This could happen if the timing on the show is set-up in a way that gives us info. on these houseguests.)
6. No rule changes unless the show has twists that make it necessary.
7. No bonus threads this contest.
8. No reminders for deadlines will be sent. I have no extra time to do so.
9. Comments may be posted here on this thread. This is the only thread we will have for this contest.

Thanks. I went there and picked my AAA pick and my F pick so that I can qualify for the 10 point bonus. I suggest you all do so, but it is up to you. Only a week away...cannot wait for both this and The Amazing Race.

Okay...here is what I heard (not sure if it is true)...maybe someone else can verify:

Two of the contestants will be related. BUT they don't know that they are related and they won't be told. We, the viewing audience, will know that they are related but the two contestants won't.

Separated at birth, maybe? Probably something like that.

What I wonder is if it involves a man and a woman. This show was all about hooking up last season....hopefully the producers would step in to stop something like that.

I thought the show was good. I was surprised that everyone is so young though....

Lori should not have kept the money!! It is too early to stand out in this game.

I think being with your half-sibling for 24/7 will make him tell Jennifer the truth. He should really. Why not?

I think that Lori was foolish to keep the money.It's like putting a target on her back.The ones that have twin siblings at home are Drew and Diane. Drew looked to be pretty identical to his brother so they are probably the two who will switch around.
I am sure that Michael will tell his sister before long,but right now I think he is still trying to deal with the shock of the situation himself.
