Love Amazing Race 5 and Big Brother 5 - July 6 Premiere
Summer Schedule
This summer, CBS is pairing 'Big Brother 5' and 'The Amazing Race 5,' scheduling both to air on Tuesday nights. Both shows will premiere July 6, with 90-minute episodes. 'Big Brother 5' will air first at 8 PM, with 'The Amazing Race' beginning at 9:30. The following week, the shows will move to their regular time periods, 'Big Brother' at 9 PM and 'The Amazing Race' at 10. 'Big Brother' will also air on Thursdays at 8 PM and Saturdays at 9 PM, keeping with the three-shows-a-week schedule as the previous 3 seasons of 'Brother.

I've never seen Big Brother (I don't even know what it's about!), but AR has had a few "racy" moments...luckily, they go right over the kids' heads. We just like the travel aspect of the show, seeing all the exotic places they visit.

I guess we'll tape it and watch the following evening.

Wow Jani- that is pretty cool and ironic!!

Believe me AR has NOTHING on racy moments compared to BB.

BB is 12 people locked in a house with no tv, no phones, no communication with the outside world. Just the house and a back yard. Lots of flirting, etc. Two people actually slept together last season.

I love reality shows but realistically I think BB is the only show that I could actually be a contestant on...sit around and talk for 24 hrs a day. Nothing dangerous or scary or physical really.

Saturdays at 9pm?? Yuk! It seems like they are trying to kill the show or something. I don't like that at all. Now, I watch a ton of TV but even I rarely watch TV on Friday or Saturday evening. I hope they switch the day.
