I was just coming back from taking my daughter to school and as I was pulling in the driveway, I heard a CBS commercial about tonights show. They talked about the romance and played the voice of one of the people involved. So needless to say, I know who at least one of the people are but I won't spoil it for everyone else. I can't wait for tonights show to see what's happened!!

Is Richard Hatch totally crazy or what? Who else would grab onto a shark by it's tail, and then just stay in the water with it latched onto your arm...? Amazing.
Rob M really showed how valuable he was last night. The shelter he designed was really great. Much better than the other two tribes.
For the first time I think Rupert did something really stupid. All that time and effort to create a shelter that would become the low spot which could be disastrous. Jerri was right, but Ethan was smart to say nothing.
I expected Jenna M to leave, but thought she would be voted off because she won her last time around. Sorry to hear about her Mom. Family does come first.
What in the world is that challenge next week with the blocky looking things they are weilding at each other?

I think it should not be too long before they have two tribes....maybe after next week?

I was in tears in last night as Jenna decided to leave. And then when they showed that her mother died 8 days later was even sadder. I thought the people voted off stayed around through the whole game so people at home wouldnt know lost. guess they made an exception for her with the sick mother. I am soooo glad she had that "sense" that something was wrong and she should be home. that would have been awful if she had been on a show when her mother died.

next weeks challenge looks hysterical. they were blindfolded and bumping into each other left and right. they must have to build something and one person tells them where to go.

rupert totally messed up last night with the house. the other 2 teams made great places and sabogas was terrible. i don't know what he was thinking. it was a minimal hut as it was. why were the other teams able to build such better shelters in the same amount of time? i mean they had 12 -20 logs for their shelter while the other teams were able to make lofts and porches and swings. i like the checker table. nice touch.

richard is crazy but he did bring in food making him a big part of his group now. and same with rupert, although he messed up with that shelter he is the only one bringing in food for them. they will starve if rupert is voted off.

ethan is smart, he knows to stay quiet and let the others fight things out. hopefully it will result in jerri leaving next

I wanted to add that my thought of who the other coule might have been was colby and jenna m. they hardly showed colby last night and i was wondering if i had him on the wrong tribe. they kept showing shiiann, kathy, lex and jenna.

I'm telling you, that Survivor episode hit me and my husband hard. With his mother having cancer and nothing to be done about it at this point, we were both bawling like babies after this show ended. I was in shock when the text came up saying her mother died. That has to be the saddest Survivor moment I have ever seen. I'm so glad Jenna left to go be with her.

I felt really sorry for Rupert last night. His hut was a mess. And he worked so hard. The other teams really did a nice job with all the accessories they built to go with their shelters. Rob M shined in that challenge.

Rob M and Amber?!!? I can't wait to see what happens between those two. I thought it was funny when Rob C commented that those two were going to do it! LMAO

All those bug bites! Oh man, those were nasty!

What about the banter between Big Tom and Sue?? Was that hilarious or what??!!

Richard and that shark!! That was brave! Gave me a new perspective about him. Granted it was just a tiny nurse shark but still, to have it dug into his arm and him not letting go of it because he wanted to take it back for the tribe to eat was just amazing. Colby was cracking me up during that whole segment. A gay stud!!! LMAOOO

That happened at least once before when a player's father was killed in an automobile accident. It was after she had been voted out but while the game was still being played. She was sent home for the funeral.

I have a headache and a fever but I still managed to update all the contests except the Bonus Thread. I will do that when I post the first bonus question for this week.

How did you all like the show? It looked like Rupert redeemed himself with his tribe. How did you like the way Jerri was transformed from one day until the next. Night and day LOL. I do not know about all of you, but I would have been wiped out by that stormy night. I would not make it as a Survivor.
Kicking off Rob C, in my opinion, would be a very bad thing IF Chapera continues as a tribe. They needed his brains. But my theory is that we will not have 3 tribes much longer. Maybe 2?
Amber is sure a pretty girl. I loved her comment about Rob M talking too much...And how did you react to Rob M making an alliance with Rob C and promptly breaking it?

I do not know about you guys, but I think Colby is a hunk with a good attitude.

I was so happy that Rupert's team finally did something right. Catching fish for the tribe should help keep him in their good books too.
I am liking Jerri much more than I did last time she was a survivor. I think that a lot of this stuff is edited to make different people look bad or to make them seem nicer than they are.
I can't stand Boston Rob as they call him. Like he is the Godfather or something."When I decide who is going to go home, he will go home" or words to that effect.
As for Colby being a hunk, I guess he is but at my age both Rupert and Richard appeal to me more . I guess I like hairy older men even if one of them is gay.

I was just telling my ds that people I didn't like last time are not bothering me this time. Like Jerri and Boston Rob. And people that I liked last time like Susan, Jenna, and Alicia I would not mind seeing them go. Amber is the same. Just stick with someone you think will stay around and you will too. Shi Ann didn't get along with her tribe last time, and this time everything seems to be going well for her.

Liz I think you may be right about making 2 tribes soon. I think they should switch them around more than once this year. That should make it hard to form a lasting alliance.

Attention all Main Contest participants:
Today, Saturday Feb. 21, I saw a Survivor Commercial in which Jeff Probst says that the losing tribe will be dissolved. I believe that means that one of the challenges this coming week has quite a twist to it. So- for an alternate Question #1 for this week only- Predict the tribe that loses and is dissolved. The scoring will be the same as before. (3 points for a correct guess)
No points will be awarded to the winning tribe this week if this twist occurs during the reward challenge. Only picking the loser gets you points. However if the reward challenge turns out to be a normal one and the twist occurs during the immunity challenge, those of you who have the winning tribe in the reward challenge will score 3 points. We will not be able to award any points this week for the immunity challenge if it involves 2 tribes instead of 3.

Wow! That is an interesting twist! Dissolving the losing tribe right then and there. That would change the whole dynamic of the game!

that was daring of colby to go with ethan and get rid of richard last night. I was getting my previous survivors mixed up and i was thinking colby and ethan were together but they werent, they were a season apart. hmmm, guess he really didnt like richard at all.

looks like an interesting "fight" next week with sue telling off jeff for richards indecent prank at the immunity challenge.

glad to see richard go and loved that he was surprised by it Kathy looked like she felt bad that they all voted for richard. but hey, he probably wont be on the jury so no need for her to worry

I have to say chapera is a pretty strong tribe right now. get rid of tom and jenna l if they lose immunity challenges and it really wont hurt them.

i am liking rob m. more this time than last time. i dont think they are giving him as much air time because of all the personalities but when it comes down to the final group he will be good for some sound bites

i loved jenna's comment about how she was in control at the other tribe and now she is at the mercy of these new people. I guess i must have missed something with the other tribe with her being in control. I think her and jerri would have a disagreement about who was "in charge" in saboga

that dive that ethan had when he was battling. that was nasty. he is going to be sore for a few days with that one. but he got up and kept playing even though you could tell he was hurting.
