Average Joe 2--Hawaii

Just a reminder that this show starts TONIGHT at 10pm on NBC.

Based on the zillion commerical previews that I've seen, this woman looks even more superficial than the last one.

I also have to wonder where they find these "average" joes.

Anyone else going to watch besides me?

Me! Boy, that hour went fast! I think four got booted off tonight, and a couple of those seemed to have very nice personalities. I wish that hyper Carrot-Top wanna-be would have been booted off. He's pretty hard to watch.

I didn't watch the first average Joe, but I happened to turn this one on when it started and it reeled me in!

I agree Yorkie - I think his name is David. This is where I think the producers rig things. No way would a woman keep that spaz around! I'm sure she's coached to keep him to keep things interesting. It seems the most hated person on reality shows never get booted off when they should.

There are a few nice guys on there that I wouldn't mind being around. But most of them are so dorky, lol. The guys she "connected" with - the one with the star shaped beard . . yuck! Any guy that has to make special designs with his facial hair would get the boot for sure. lol

I agree that David guy was VERY annoying!! I couldn't believe that she didn't give him the boot. Even hubby commented on how she kicked off some of the nicer looking ones and kept the dorks. lol

Hubby & I watched too. We were thinking these guys on here aren't really "average" guys. Some of them aren't too bad looking, but some of them need to whiten their teeth and get contacts, then they wouldn't be so bad. Don't think I'm mean, but most of those guys on there are really dorky nerds. And yes, I think that David guy should have gone, at least I would have gotten rid of him right away.

Boy, that one guy looked like Adam Sandler a bit.

Larissa impressed me more as the show went on. She seems to be making a real attempt to get to know the guys.

I think she had a tough call to get rid of four guys before she really got to know any of them. I thought annoying David would go. I don't see her liking him at all.

I wasn't surprised to see the 50's guy go. I don't know many gals who would be into that. Also the guy that had trouble communicating seemed sure to be a goner (and he was.) With such a short time to impress her, he did the opposite and had no shot at going further.

They sure showed ALOT during the upcoming previews. Seems like she likes the hottie guys that show up quite a bit. Did you see the one hottie say that the "average joes" have to compete with THIS (and then lifted up his shirt to show his six pack abs??!! Too funny.

I totally agree, I would never call these guys "average". Average to me is a decent looking guy - not super hot and not ugly. Just normal, nice, not many querks.

I think the show should be called "Dorky Joe".

Okay, now I know this show is rigged! She's still hanging on to David, and even picks him for a private date? Ugh I was embarrassed for him when he was singing his song to her.

Maybe I'm being mean . . . but the show is just plain mean. These "average joes" think they have a shot with this girl, and their hearts are really into it, and soon the "hunks" will be there to make them feel like they're less than dirt.

It'll be interesting to see what she does when the hunks show up.

Except the REALLY heavy guy. He's still around. The one that was pretty heavy, don't remember his name, he had dark hair, glasses, and a goatee - I thought he was really nice and not bad looking. He was always nervous though and didn't have much to say, I think that's why she got rid of him.

I'd much rather be with a bigger guy then an 80 pound 5'1" guy!

I think she chose David for the one-on-one date because she was going to pick the Jesus guy but he probably scared her so she didn't know what to do.

I like Tony...the artist guy she kissed. Only problem is he looks like he is getting chemotherapy! White bald guys have a tough time being bald.

What was up with Tim when he was boxing? He was being crazy...hitting someone in the back of the head. I am glad she got rid of him.

I knew Phuc was a goner. For some reason, on ALL these dating reality shows, there is always ONE minority person and they always make it though ONE elimination and then they are toast.

Do the hot guys show up next week? I couldn't tell.

These guys that are being voted off are kind of funny. They all say she is the kind of girl they have always wanted. What are they going by, looks only? If she were fat and homely would they want anything to do with her. I even heard one of the overweight men say on the first show what if the girl is realy 5'1" and weighs 300 lbs and they all laughed. If they then brought in a beauty who would they go for? I do think they sould try harder to get real average guys and not ones that have been on very few dates. They kiss her once and think they are in love and it is the best date they have ever had. Wouldn't that scare off a woman right away. I think she keeps David around because he is like a little brother and is a safe person to have around.

Tony the artist did say he had something wrong with him. He has no sweat glands or something like that. He said it on the first show. Maybe that is why he kind of looks sickly.

I thought the really heavy guy she voted off last night had really pretty eyes. Can't remember his name right now,,,,he was the one who said it was a weight issue (not the guy with the goatee, his name was long, something like Dominico...help me out here!)

I can't hardly watch David. Perhaps with contacts and a different hair style.....

I thought they should do an Average Jane show, but DH doesn't think it would be as interesting.

Donato...he was the heavy guy kicked off. i thought he was so nice and not bad looking.

i agree...these guys are DORKS...NOT average at all.

this show is so bad it's entertaining...none of these guys are that great. at least adam from the last one was a real down to earth guy
