She did get rid of some of the better looking guys. David is just nasty. So is the guy from Boston. I can't stand his accent and he looks grimey and sneaky.

I don't think there ever will be an "Average Jane" show. There's more of a stigma about heavy women than heavy men. (Not saying that an average Jane would be heavy). And while not-so goodlooking guys can make it in TV or movies, the same doesn't go for women.

On sitcoms, it seems there's almost always a heavier guy, but the wife on the show is always petite and beautiful (King of Queens, According to Jim, Still Standing, etc.)

I don't see it happening, but it'll be interesting if it does!

My mind is going blank right now when I'm trying to think about names . . . but I think the big guy on there is adorable - Shawn maybe? She had a private date with him last night. Yes, he is big, and yes, he has bigger boobs than I do. Haha, but I love his personality, and he's cute too.

Now that the good looking guys are there, It'll be interesting.

They all seem like conceited A-holes. That was funny, when one of the "Joe's" made the comment "They're cloning themselves!"

She did mention last night that she likes guys who take care of themselves, so she'll probably be impressed with the 'hotties'. Personally, I agree with you, that the 'hotties' seem pretty arrogant and too much into themselves, and as we saw from the first Average Joe, just because they're a hottie, does not mean they even have a personality. But, to me, she seemed a little too secretly happy to see these eight new guys. I was really sad to see the expressions on the Average Joe's faces when the hotties all came in.

One good thing about this show...you can totally tell that they have WOMEN camerapeople working on the show! That was so obvious when they kept showing the hottie's chests!!

Looks like in the upcoming previews that she spends a lot of time kissing the new hotties. I didn't see her kissing any of the average joes. These guys have it tough. On the first show it was 3 against 3...now it is 8 against 8. Much more time for the hotties to work their magic. You know by next week at least half of them will be in "love" with Larissa since that is the way these shows always go.

Last night's show was pretty good. Made me realize a couple things. First, the "average Joe" guys don't have a chance. And I don't think that makes her shallow at all. We all are attracted to certain types of people.

That Michael guy she picked for the yacht cruise, he's adorable and seems like a nice guy. She obviously had a connection with him!

I think this is just a mean show. Making the Joe's think they have a chance with this girl, then bringing in the same type of people that have put them down their whole lives. And humiliating them on national TV.

Of course I can't stop watching though!

Ok, I've missed all the shows, what day and night is this show on?
I saw the previews and I agree, these guys are dorks, real nerdy types, I wouldn't call them Average Joes at all. Average would be like the boy next door. That one guy someone pointed out, the hunk who raised his shirt to show his 6 pack, talk about full of himself! I wouldn't want a guy like that either.

Oh, I forgot to mention too, that these "hunky" guys see the girl as a peice of meat. One referred to her as a beaver - nice eh? They think they deserve a girl like this, while the "nerdy" guys are in heaven because they thought they finally had a chance.

It's on Monday nights.

I've never heard of a woman referred to as a "beaver". What does that mean? Makes no sense to me.

Also, I missed something...why were they in the water rowing? Was that some sort of contest?

Well, beaver refers more to a "part" of a woman rather than the whole woman. Either way - it's crude.

I think they were just rowing to spend time together, I don't believe any sort of contest was involved.
