On the TV show "Who Wants To Marry My Dad", which blonde did he pick to marry???
Was it the blonde who used to be a beauty queen, or the other one? I meant to watch it Monday night, then completely forgot about it. Thanx.

I caught the last 45 minutes of that show. The kids picked Christena ... the one that was NOT the former beauty queen. You can see her picture here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

I had had my doubts about Kristy, the beauty queen - she just didn't seem totally genuine about the whole thing. At the end, when she found out the kids did not pick her ... the dad asked her if he could have one last kiss ... and she said 'No, you can't' ... very snobbily, and walked away. You could tell that it hurt and confused him. By her actions and how she said that, you could tell that of the two, the kids did pick the better person.

Yorkie - I totally agree about that last snobby comment from Kristy completely reassured everyone that the kids made the right choice.

Also during the lie detector test, Kristy said she wouldn't sign a pre-nup.

I'm thinking if you're rich and you meet your spouse on a TV dating show, they better be ready to sign a pre-nup! If they love you, then it shouldn't matter, because if you stay married the pre-nup doesn't mean anything. If you disagree to a pre-nup, that more or less says the money means more to you.

I'd like to hear an update . . . see how they're doing after they met Christina's kids and all.

You're right - I'd like to see an update, too. Probably all we'll get is a page in People Magazine.

Even so, Christena didn't totally convince me. There was something about her ... I got a feeling she was holding back, and I didn't see real joy in her face ... but, then again, the kids saw a whole lot more of her than we ever did, and I know I'd be nervous and funky from the norm in front of the cameras so much.

I just read the interview of Christena on the NBC site, and it just seems she's more into the the whole show concept then the fact she just got engaged! She said she'd do it all again - so maybe we'll see her on the next episode of "Middle-aged Bachelorette". lol

She said she realized a new "talent" or something for TV. Excuse me? There was no talent involved in the show. lol It's not like she had to act or something.

Suddenly I'm thinking they'll go their parting ways before long.

Well knock me over with a feather. I just read in People magazine that Christena broke up with the guy - but they're still friends. They never moved to live closer - so they were living on opposite ends of the US (I thought the whole idea was "Who wants to MARRY my dad".)

Oh well, another reality show romance bites the dust.

Why do they even bother?
