Corey Clark booted from AI

Heard on the news this morning that Corey Clark got booted yesterday from the show. He apparently was arrested last summer for beating up his sister.


FOX just found out about it by the smokinggun.com website. The police report spelled his name "Cory" so FOX didn't find it when they did a backround search.

Why would they boot him and not Trenyce? Maybe bec. Trenyce could actually win the competition and be a big star?

Couldn't FOX find 12 clean-living people to be on the show?!!

I don't understand why Trenyce wasn't booted... maybe the producers thought her felony theft charge wasn't as undesireable as being a porn model or assault.

I heard the big different is Trenyce was honest with the producers and Corey wasn't. Big leason here for next years AI hopefuls...don't withhold ANY information!

I don't understand why Trenyce was not kicked off either. Frenchie was kicked off even though what she did was legal (even if the photos were posted on a kiddie porn site, she said she was over 18 when she posed for the pics), but Trenyce did something illegal and gets to stay. Corey did something illegal and he gets kicked off.

It almost looks like they are choosing to "look the other way" in Trenyce's case since she fits the Americal Idol image. Frenchie did not have that same "look" and Corey does not sing as well as Trenyce does.

I think that if they are going to kick off Corey and Frenchie, Trenyce needs to go too.
