WOW! Thanks Hattie.....Just reading the sketchy info on that page has me intrigued. A rocket scientist, a school Principal, a swimsuit model, a triathalon coach, an executive, a lady lawyer.... 8 of the 16 are in their twenties so we will have some immature behavior no doubt, and a potential for romance.... I think by looking at the occupations that we may also have some power struggles. No Texas theme on this one...Five are from California this time.

Jeff Probst was on the radio here recently. He said the Thailand Survivor was "friendly" but on the Amazon one everybody is "all business".

Tribes will be divided by men vs women
Names are Tambaqui and Jaburu


Jaburu Tribe (Females) - Yellow Buffs

Tambaqui Tribe (Males) - Blue Buffs


The reporter says that she was there the second day

Tambaqui is a tasty fish and Jaburu is a local bird

Alex is a tri-athlete that takes on a leadership role in Tambaqui

Jeanne is the mother figure

Manioc is a local root that is given to the tribes for food rationing (instead of rice or cornmeal)

Christy is deaf (partial hearing with hearing aids) and seems to be the hard worker that's desperate to build shelter

One of the players can't take the pressure of the environment. (Probst says think Tanya/Jessie)

The first challenge (IC?) is an obstacle course consisting of runs, crawls, climbs, balance beam, and puzzles

The Immunity Idol is a humanoid figure with a monkey face

In the very short player bios, only 5 players have "Probst notes" attached to them. Roger, Joanna, Deena, Heidi, and Jeanne

Butch is a School Principal from Olney, IL

did anyone watch it this morning? didnt look at my paper till tonight but they were on this morning!!!! did anyone see them and see what they were like in person? sorry i missed it.
