Discussion of Amazing Race Episode 6

Inquiring minds want to know:
Will Flo cry again? Will Aaron?
Will the pretty boys mess up or stay near the front?
Pretty pretty please, could we get rid of Ian and Teri? (special request from hattielee and me)
Who will make us laugh the most? Could it be Ken and Gerard or someone unexpected?
Will there be a fast forward after several weeks without one?
Will we have one of those weeks that no one is eliminated?
Will anyone get all of bonus BBB correct, as unlikely as it seems?


Starting this early as has become my habit. The picks and your scores have been updated/posted on our "important" thread. I still need a clarification from sceptre on one question if he reads this. (check out Important/ picks and e-mail me)

Looking forward to tonights show. Good luck everyone, but especially pennywise, ShainaT and me, because we have so few points. LOL

Ok,let me start this by saying I REALLY wanted Terri/Ian to go......but now I kinda like them........Terri's little speech was good,they're in it for the long haul and it works for them..........so anyway......I like them and was glad they made it,even though they beat JV/J,who I like GLAD A/A are gone!!!

Hi,
I have never posted to one of these discussions before but just wanted to put in my two cents. I too an getting really sick of Ian, his wife drives me crazy too, I just want to shake her and tell her she should tell this man where he can put his super male attitude! I was also glad John Vito and Jill are still in, they have been our fav from the start. I look for either the twins or Gerard and his brother to win, both those teams have it so put together now it's like they don't even sweat it!

Woohoo! I actually guessed several things correct this time. I sure was glad to see A/A go, but I am getting tired Flo's whining and Ian's mouth. I don't know how Teri puts up with him.

Even tho I had A/A to go all the way I am GLAD they are gone now...he sure turned into a whiner!

That Ian makes my skin crawl...DH says that Ian just plain HATES women and I agree with him. Used to feel sorry for Teri but not anymore...anyone that would put up with him deserves him! I about came out of my chair screaming when they got the fast forward.......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :[{

I sure felt sorry for team 911 - I would have been scared to death being detained like that in a country like that. I don't know why they would be having the contest in that part of the world these days anyway?

My favorites at this stage of the game are Ken/Gerard and JohnVito/Jill - they all seem like decent enough people...Ken/Gerard still crack me up!!! (not that it takes ALOT to crack me up, LOL).

I would enjoy the show ALOT more if T/I were GONE - they grate on me more and more every week, yuk!

I must say though...this year I think the show has been alot closer and more fun to watch!

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT CHIPPERS COMES UP WITH FOR US NEXT WEEK...SO I CAN GET A WHOLE BUNCH MORE

When Teri and Ian won the Fast Forward, I kept thinking, "Please please please let this be one of the weeks that no one is eliminated." Rats!

I was glad to see Aaron and Arrianne go,since that's who I guessed would come in last.I made points for Ian and Terri using the fast forward too. Yippee!!!!
I think that my favorite team is Ken and Gerard even though I put my money on Andre and Damon to win in the end. John Vito and Jill seem like a nice couple but I don't like Zack and Flo.

flo drives me crazy. I didnt notice how bad she was at the beginning of the race but since the week when the cars all broke downn and she started crying she has been soooo annoying. can she whine any more??? I dont know how zach puts up with it???

I was kinda bummed that the atv incidents werent a bigger deal i guess i was hoping a bunch of teams would be competing at the same time and the ditch and tree incident would happen then

I would have needed new pants if i had been in andre and damons place. even before they started saying they were detained and all. just being in a strange littel town with no taxi's to get you out of there. and then having the local authorities take you in. scary. i can only say it is a good thing it was a couple guys instead of a male/female or all female team. can you imagine if it had been heather and eve???

i still dont like teri and ian. he is annoying and she cowers to him and it drives me nuts. she kept saying they needed to get off the highway and he is like fine we will get off but the consequences will be on your head and she said fine lets stay on. when they should have gotten off!!!! has he said one polite or complimentary thing to her at all during the show??? i wonder how she feels watching this on tv and seeing how they are portrayed. i would really like to see them on the early show when they are gone.

i think 3 of the final 4 will be d/d, k/g, and jv/j. i think jv/j have a lot of common sense and they are laid back. they havent freaked out and started crying or whinning at all during the show. their car broke down and the were stranded for an hour, we didnt hear either of them crying and whinning. they lost out on the fast forward to t/i and they still caught up to f/z??? i think as long as they dont have anymore bad luck, like the car incident, they should be able to make it far.

good show as always didnt they say it is on an hour earlier next week?? and the week of thanksgiving survivor will be on at 8 and then amazing race at 9 hope i have all my preparations done

I have tallied the scores for Episode 6 and AAA and BBB. There is good news and bad news. Several people got as much as 12 points on Episode 6 questions. But- we have no winners for AAA or BBB.

Last nights show was a little disappointing in that there was no really big argument, no really big crashes, and not much resentment displayed. Just a lot of whining from Flo and bickering from Teri and Ian. I have come to the conclusion that they just act that way with each other all the time.
I felt sorry for John Vito and Jill having radiator trouble through no fault of their own. And poor Andre/Damon got a terrible driver and ended up in hot water.

Scary situation Andre/Damon were in. I'm sure we will hear a lot more details of what really happened once they are eliminated. Andre/Damon sure aren't putting forth much effort, they seem to want everyone else to do the work and they follow.

Everytime Ian starts to speak I cringe. They are worse than Tara/Will from last season. When Ian yelled at Terri "Come"(like he was calling a dog) I wanted to slap him silly! Can you imagine they have children(10 and 16) at home watching them act like this on TV!

I love John Vito and Jill ,nothing seems to get them down and they are so nice to one another.
