The Bachelor

So, I normally watch Amazing Race but since it wasn't on last night I watched The Bachelor for the first time.

I can't believe that all the women were so in love with Aaron. They hardly seem to know him....it's only been a few weeks! I was also surprised that he was kissing all the women....if a woman was the bachelorette and was kissing all the men contestants then you can be sure she would be called terrible names!

Anyhow, I thought he would keep Gwen and Helene. I was surprised when he picked Brooke over Gwen. I think he likes Helene the best but I guess you never know!

I don't watch the show,but I'll predict he picks the one that is young and blonde! LOL

I see more "spark" with him and Brooke, BUT it seems that Helene is causing more of a "chase" which always seems to appeal to guys.

WELL except for the last bachelor - whenever he talked about why he picked the one he did, it was because "She likes me so much". He chose the girl who was just throwing herself all over him - sucker! LOL

I guessed Helene . . . but I'm not always right about these things. LOL

I cannot make an informed guess, because I have never seen the show. I turned it on last night when there was no Amazing Race to watch....but I fell asleep without seeing even the first minute. I would guess if one of the two that are left is blonde and anywhere near sexy and the guy is anywhere near shallow in his outlook on life, the blonde will be picked. But I also venture to guess that they will not be together in 6 months time.

Although I voted for Helene, I have no idea which one he'll choose. Depends on what he's looking for. When he told Gwen that he was falling in love *snort guffaw* with one of the remaining two, I thought it was Helene because of the way they interact. However, maybe he's attracted to Brooke's vulnerability and seemingly genuine sweetness.

I'm more interested in hearing the catty remarks from the rejected women next week, as well as Christi's continuing claim that she's really not a psycho loony.

She can shout it from the mountaintops, but I'm not buying it! She's psycho with a capital "P". I heard her on the preview of next week's show saying "I've never boiled a rabbit". Heheh (reference to Fatal Attraction).

I like both Helene and Brooke, so I'll feel bad for whichever one gets the boot.

I voted Brooke

I think he always looks kinda fidgity and nervous with Brooke like he really loves her. I like Brooke, although she seems really young.

I hope he chooses Brooke! She is from Alabama ya know!! I like Helene pretty well, but geesh its like psychology 101 with her. She has played mind games from day one. I mean....that show where she said she might leave...............oh please. He even says its stressful with her.......20 questions and all!

LOL I'm also hoping it's Brooke because of the Alabama connection. I've been through her hometown of Albertville (which is correctly pronounced with 2 1/2 syllables sorta like Ow-er-vul, but with an Alabama twang) many many times on the way to Guntersville. I recognized the Holiday Inn there on Lake Guntersville as the place where Aaron stayed.
Owervul is located on Sand Mountain, home to the world's worst drivers, and is next to Boaz which was one of the first outlet centers in the SE. It's close to Arab, which I remember only because it's pronounced with the accent on the first syllable.

Anybody else watch last nights "The Women Tell All" show? Can't believe that Aaron eliminated Gwen bec. she didn't "open up" enough in that 5 minutes of time before he had to choose. I thought he told Gwen as he walked her out last week that he was falling in love with one of the other women? Also, didn't it seem as though most of the women there were still crazy about Aaron?

Can't wait till they do the Bachelorette show where a woman picks from among all guys.

It was pretty funny seeing Brooke was from Albertville AL - because I work in Albertville MN.

I think most of the girls still like Aaron.

And I couldn't believe when Heather from Texas cried about that one girl saying she was trying to fatten them up. She just joked about that herself! It was an odd moment - I think she was already choked up about the things Aaron said on video.

Poor Gwen - I think Aaron made a mistake. He should have voted off Helene and kept Gwen for another week.

Tonight should be a good night.....Amazing Race is on at 8pm and then the Bachelor is on from 9-11pm. I can't believe I am now hooked on the Bachelor!

Still thinking he will pick Helene....

I haven't watched the Amazing Race, but I am definately hooked on The Bachelor! My husband is hooked too.........he'd never admit it however!!! He grumbles, but he makes as many comments on it as I do.

Helene gets on my nerves........I hope he chooses Brooke!

I just watched this show for the first time tonight, wow! How wrong, and on so many levels, it leaves me speechless! I feel very sorry for these people.
