**This must be done before midnight CST on Oct 30th.**

Answer these 3 Questions:
**1. Who do you think will be voted off Survivor in the upcoming episode (Oct 31st)?

**2. Which tribe do you think will win the immunity challenge (Chauy Gahn or Sook Jai) in the upcoming episode (Oct 31st)?

**3. Which tribe member do you think will NOT be booted off the island in the upcoming episode (Oct 31st)?

SCORING:
It's all about gaining points this time, folks! No one will lose or gain points for an incorrect guess.

Question #1: This question is worth 5 points for correctly guessing who gets booted off this week. (Only guess one tribe member.) (In the event that a tribe member has to leave the island for any other reason other than being voted off, that tribe member will be considered booted as well and points will be awarded accordingly. But you can only submit one guess each week no matter if more than one tribe member leaves the island in the same episode.)

Question #2: This question is worth 3 points for correctly guessing which tribe will win the immunity challenge for the week.

Question #3: This question is worth 2 points for correctly guessing a tribe member that will NOT be booted off during the weeks episode.

I will post everyones picks and points in each weeks thread at the end of the show.
(10 total chances available per week.)

PRIZE DRAWING:
There will be a random drawing at the end of the season for a $50 gift certificate. Each point you accumulate during the game, earns you one chance in the pot for the drawing.

Important notes: The time/datestamp on the email you send to me each week determines whether you are in it or not. Please do not wait until the last minute to email me your picks. I don't want to get yelled at for you missing the deadline. I've been quite lenient on this the last couple seasons and have tried to include everyone I could in the game even if they sent their picks late. Different rules this time.....see below.

Anyone not able to make a prediction for the week, I will just leave your picks as they were from the previous week. Points will only be accumulated for those that you have correct. Once you run out of picks, no points can be accumulated until I hear from you again with new picks.

I'm also going to try a different approach to help keep everyone in the game. When you send me your picks, please do it from a reliable email address that I may send you a reminder to vote each week. I will email (blind copy) everyone a few days before the deadline to remind you to submit your picks. This way, there will be no need for me to keep track in a post everyone that has submitted for the week. If the reminder is in your mailbox, you can submit your picks to me, delete the reminder and then you know you have submitted for the week and don't have to worry about it until you see I've sent you the next reminder. So please make sure you send me your picks from a reliable email address because that is the one that I will use to send you reminders. I will not be responsible for emails bouncing back.

I'm not so sure that bonus question is an easy one! From the TV previews it looked like there wouldn't be, BUT from the cbs website it says this about next weeks episode:

"The two tribes anticipate a merger between them, but what they don't anticipate are the details."

which makes it sound like there may be one but that the details are different.

It may be a merge but just a different type of merge. I hope if that's the case it doesn't mess us your bonus question.

Hmmm.... I wonder what the merge will be?? Surely something to mix the pot so to speak. Now is when Survivor really gets interesting. We know the people better etc. Still not sure who will win etc

This is what TV guide says:

"The castaways anticipate a merge of the two tribes and new relationships are formed. A seventh contestant is voted off the island."

Still sounds like a merge but different sort of merge. I'm confused as to how to answer the bonus question.

It being so much fun to speculate I am offering the following possibilities:

all the women (5) against all the men (5)
or
new captains and another round of choosing
or
stay the same tribes but win immunity and get to vote off someone from the other tribe
or
merge and:
not be allowed to vote off someone from your original tribe for the first week
or

the loser of a contest of some sort is the one voted off instead of voted off by other contestants
or

win immunity and get to declare someone else immune also






THIS IS FUN/ Anyone else thinking of different scenerios?

I really like this idea even if they dont do it i think that would be a great idea. this would have been a neat thing to do also instead of asking who wants to switch tribes doing a switch men and women but then making the challenges not physical but mental

i think they have to do the merger but there is going to be some difference (obviously, arent i brilliant) buat i really cant think what????? love this game, it always keeps you guessing.

i went to the website at cbs today and read the chat with jeff, it was pretty interesting. it took place before the show started airing but it was interesting to learn about him

dont think it would work LOL.
Speculation will run high this week, so exciting. Ever since the ghandia thing everything has been so quiet I am glad things are being FUN again for Survivor.

My main problem with Tribes in the first place is they get close and then they wont cros tribe lines not sure how you ever get away from that even with the merge

Ok...just to clarify.....a merge is a merge in my opinion. I think there would be no way they could play the game if there wasn't a merge. Now if just one or more switches tribes, I don't consider that a merge. Thats just switching sides....lol So unless they all come together and create a new tribe name, there will be no merge. Is that ok with everyone?

From the notes from the site I think a merge does take place, despite my bonus vote to the contrary (lol)
I just wonder what weird twist they will come up with.

Maybe they're just playing with the viewers minds again. Before the show started they tried to make us think it was going to be men against women. Now maybe they are trying to trick us about the merge.
Here's my theory: They usually send one member of each tribe to meet, make new flag, new tribe name etc... come back tell the others. How about the only difference this time is they all come together at one time, get to know each other, maybe some kind of Thai Ceremony( the body paint they have on) and choose their new tribe name.
All the previews for the following weeks episodes have tended to make things more dramatic then they have actually been.
