| THE AMAZING RACE 3 Thread: Questions and scores posted here:
Each week you will find the list of remaining teams, the questions you need to send predictions for or answers to, and our entry and score summary. The 12 teams for Amazing Race are: Aaron & Arianne Andre & Damon Dennis & Andrew Derek & Drew Flo & Zach Gina & Sylvia Heather & Eve John Vito & Jill Ken & Gerard Michael & Kathy Teri & Ian Tramel & Talicia Question #1 Which team will finish first in Episode 1? Question #2 Which team will finish last in Episode 1? Question #3 This question will make you take a look at the teams and learn a little about them. Your task is to multiply the number of teams which have 2 teammates that are the exact same age by the number of teams that are blood relatives, and then multiply that by the number of contestants that are from NY, NY. (living there presently, and not other parts of NY) Take your result and subtract the total of the ages of the team that has known each other the longest. Can you name the team member whose age is the exact number you get from all that math? Good luck! You have a long time to work on this. But do not forget to get all your entries to me at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] by 12 midnight EST of Oct 1. You do not need to send your ultimate winner pick for the first episode as you have until Oct 15 to send it. (for highest point possibilities)

haha Cini If it comforts you any, this is probably the only time I will use such a question. I will be using events/conversations/visual observations as the questions for #3 as soon as the show starts.

I cannot emphasize enough that as you send me your entries you MUST put Amazing Race in the subject line because I get a lot of junk e-mails that I delete very quickly and I do not want to delete your guesses by mistake. AMAZING RACE 3: The Rules of Our Game Amazing Race 3 starts on Wednesday, Oct 2. You can find out all about the 12 new teams at: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] Anyone who is registered at DOD may enter the contest at any time while the show airs, right up to midnight (EST) of the night before the last show. 1 point scored makes you eligible for the random drawing for a $25 gift certificate the Mayor has graciously offered us. The contest will have a very different twist this time around. Anyone who enters will be given only one chance to choose the ultimate winning team. If you choose your one pick for ultimate winner by midnight (EST) of OCTOBER 15, you will be eligible to get 25 points at the end of the game if your pick wins. I call this the HIGH RISK selection pool. If you feel less confident, but think you have a good choice, make your choice by midnight of OCTOBER 29 to be eligilble for 15 points. Any "chickens" out there may wait until midnight NOVEMBER 27 to make an ultimate winner selection, for which they will win 5 points if their choice comes in first. In summary: choose your 1 pick for ulitmate winner by: Midnight, Oct 15/ if your pick wins you get 25 points Midnight, Oct 29/ your pick wins/ you get 15 points Midnight, Nov. 26 / your pick wins / 5 points added to your total. Don't quit if your ultimate winner pick is eliminated. You can still win LOTS of points by entering weekly. Every week you can make points toward your total by answering 3 questions: #1 will always be: Which team will come in first this week? #2 will always be: Which team will come in last this week? (It does not matter if they are eliminated or not) #3 will vary and will usually be based on what happened on the show in the previous episode Scoring will be 3 points for each correct answer. All entries for each week must have an e-mail posting time before midnight EST of the night before each episode. All entries must have a subject of Amazing Race 3 to avoid my "fast finger" that deletes junk e-mails. All e-mails should be sent to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] I will not be posting any of the ultimate winner picks here at this sight until after each deadline has passed. By this I mean I will keep a record of, and post all the ultimate winner picks on Wednesdays October 16 and 30 and on Wednesday, November 28th. I will e-mail you a quick response when I receive your ULTIMATE WINNER choice just so you will know I have received and recorded it. Sometime between 10 AM and 7 PM each Wednesday I will post everyones picks for questions 1,2, and 3 for that episode. The rules I have posted here may be changed, with adequate notice, if any of them prove impossible to use, or any strange twists occur on the show that make a new twist here a good idea. I wish to play the game as well. I am not eligible to answer question 3 but I will be guessing on 1 and 2 along with you. I will be studying the teams and picking my ultimate winner for the high risk pool. Any questions about rules, scoring, your picks, or who is going to win the World Series may be sent to me at: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Cini: you may have noticed my username is chippers21. Well that comes form being a big Chipper Jones fan, so you can guess who my favorite team is, and has been, for 30 years. As for the Diamondbacks, I cheer for them to get burned out as the season winds down, because I know what Schilling and Johnson did to the Braves all by themselves last year! __________________ [Only registered and activated users can see links. My mother and my littlest sister are right there with you!!! They, too, are big time Braves fans...my other sister and I are D'Backs, so we have lots of fun at playoff time! I have been an RJ fan since he started with Montreal, so I go back a ways too. I cried when he finally got the series ring last year, it was a beautiful sight. Good luck to your Braves this year...at least until the pennant...hee hee.

Thanks for the kind words Chippers! Cinifini - roflmbo I am in total shock getting Survivor picks right twice in a row. I think Amazing Race is alot harder to predict than Survivor - so much depends on getting the best flight.__________________ [Only registered and activated users can see links. HAHAHAHAHA - oh that's too much...funny you should say that, my dh says that it should be called "The Amazing Ticket Counter" instead of the Amazing Race...it DEFINATELY depends on who gets there in time for the next bus, train, or plane, lol.
