Starting a business...

My husband has recently started a business and I've been trying to help by building his website, placing ads all around, etc...trying to get the word out, you know?

Is there a sure-fire way I can make sure he gets noticed and actually starts getting business? I don't feel right spamming it all over the internet, because I'm sure that's more than likely to just annoy people, which is the opposite of what we need...

Swing on over to Craigslist and post a free advertisement. Whenever you can provide a link to your site below your signature in forums it will generate a few visitors.

It would be helpful if you gave us some details about your business. I own several money making websites that I have to market completely different than my cabinetry business.
