linux help?

I've been reading about installing software on linux.WOW.... All this is way over my head. Is their such a thing as a installation wizzard that i can download? How do I install software? I need step by step instructions guys. Sorry. This is deep for me.

I have also tried using LInux, but have finally given up. Its not as easy as Window's unfortunately. You are not the only one having trouble with it. Maybe that will be some comfort to you.

Pioneer has electricity included on it for free so you can run Windows software- much is preloaded and others you run through it. Includes Open Office and most apps you need. Bit more stable than Ubuntu and the others.
