help with mini poddle with seizures

i have a mini poodle that is nine years old that has always been healthy but lately have been having seizures since of oct 07 and has been seen by numerous vets and specialist. which diagnose her with epilepsy and has been taken medication phenobarbital and potassium bromide. the seizures has not stopped and the dog has gained double her weight. she eating and drinking constantly in excess. and urinating constantly at time she has four and five seizures a day. she has not had an mri or cat scan to say she has tumors. the reason this has not been done not so much the cost but the specialist states that dogs can not be operated for head tumors because they are not successful in dogs as much. blood work seems to be normal. no injurys or head trama. any recommendations or any help because i do not know what else to do with my little dog??

If you dog is seizuring on a daily basis and has fewer and fewer intervals of non-seizure activity, then this is an extremely serious situation for your dear dog. I can only advise you to listen to what your vet suggests.
