Selling Avon tips

This may be totally off topic, but since you all are talking about Avon...
I just started selling Avon, and my business is not going quite as well. Family, friends, and co-workers are the only ones who have ordered from me.
Can you please help me with some tips. Maybe it's just because I am worn out from school and working my other job...?

Do you sell Avon products on a cash basis?

Have you thought about putting flyers in your neighbors' mailboxes?

How about having an open house? Offer a free gift (something small) to those people who bring a friend (someone you do not know). Have door prizes and games.

My girlfriend is in this job along with her mother and they are also not very satisfied, but they do it just for fun. I think this kind of work can't make a big salary

If you want to make money selling Avon you have to treat it like a business not a hobby. I don't make a lot of money but it pays for my Avon addiction. However I know some people who make quite a bit.

I think that Avon is just like any other direct selling company. You have to invest time and energy into it to make it profitable. But, fortunately, "full-time" with these companies is usually 10-15 hours a week. So, I'm sure you will do well even with another job. Something else to keep in mind is that it takes a little time to build your business, but you should see results within 3 months. I don't sell Avon, but am associated with another direct selling company. They tell us that what we do today will affect our business within 90 days. You may want to spend a little money advertising. I know about every 3 months I get a catalog in my paper box (don't put ANY THING in a mail box! That is a federal offense!) You could do a flier or a postcard to announce your business to everybody you know or host a business kickoff and invite everybody you know! Good luck!
