I need an eye exam!!
I'm on disability and i cant seem to find any opticians that take the medical card. Does anybody know where i can find a list or a phone number i can call where i can find this information?

Hi,
Try calling Social Services, or Medicare. Either one should be able to get you someone in your area. If that doesn't work, post again and we'll find something. Also, any teaching hospital in your area should have a clinic for this as well - check with those. They should "have" to accept your medicare/medicaid card.

Hello,If you have Medicare go to their website & click the "Find Doctor"link,they have different catagories!Hope this helps you.

Thank you so much for these! I recently found out (at only 36) that I have a cataract related to an injury during childhood which requires an operation. I have no insurance-had to save just to get first eye exam in 4 years, still can't afford to get my glasses or contacts. Thank you so much!!
