Hello. My family is going through a difficult time. My husband has been laid off for the third time in two years. We have 3 small children and I stay at home with them. He is having a very difficult time finding a new job. Also, our two-year-old lost all of his hair 8 months ago to alopecia totalis. (This is unexplained sudden hair loss). There is not a cure for it. He also lost his eyelashes and eyebrows. It is very difficult for him to go outside during the day because the sun is very bright to him, and hurts his eyes because he does not have any eyelashes. Our family will greatly appreciate any prayers for these situations. God Bless You! Laura ![]() |

I sympathize with you........my DH was laid off twice in a matter of years (about 4-5 years ago). The first time he was laid off was literally weeks before we were to close on our first home(a dream come true for us)......luckily, we were able to walk away with our down payment. But, it was a long time before he found another job and we ended up going thru most of our savings (down payment and all). At least he collected unemployment (not enough to talk about) and I was working (retail) so there was SOME $$ Takes a long time to get back on your feet ........... Then he was laid off again, we had just had our 2nd son and we had allwe could do to get formula and diapers let along scrounge up enough quarters for laundry. Tough times BUT I think we walked away stronger people....... Do you have WIC there that could offer assistance ........ Think they cover formula, milk, eggs, cereal, juice, etc? What are the sex/ages of your lil ones(besides your 2 yr old son)? I don't have any baby stuff but maybe there's some things you may be able to use for them? I've heard of Alopecia before, actually used to work with a young man that suffered from it. Bless you son's lil heart....... I do hope that someday they will find a cure for it so people, like you son, no longer have to suffer...... Hang in there, stay strong and know that loving thoughts and prayers are being sent your way. Naomi

Man I feel bad for your son, but know with everyone's prayers he'll be strong enough to "endure". Such a young child to have to tho' & my heart goes out to you all.
