 Why oh why did I have to get out of bed today???
Hello all. I hate posting bad news. It sends to set a tone that is so horrible. So in advance I am sorry. They day was actually going fairly well untill DH got home from work and informed me that he got laid-off. I was (am) in shock. We decided that he would provide for us so that I could finish my education, and one semester into it he gets canned!!! I now have to pull my DD out of day-care (away from her friends) and ask family to help me watch her so that I can go to summer school. (I have to go to summer school because it has already been paid for and I don't have the $900.00 to pay it back!) Just keep us in mind!! Our luck is pretty bad (you know kinda like if there were no bad luck we'd have no luck at all kinda thing?!........I can't even get the freebies that most of you have gotten months ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Depressed in Louisiana

Hang in there! You will make it through this. I know you will. I have been in a similiar situation long ago and it worked out ok. God will provide for your family as long as you remain faithful. Surely your hubby can get unemployment which will help somewhat and I am betting that your church would be glad to help. The church I attend is so good to help......with anything. And most of the time they do things BEFORE asked. I bet if word gets around that your church will jump in and lend a hand. Maybe ask friends to babysit and offer to watch their kids one night so they can have time away. Sometimes that is better than money. That way family members don't get burned out. Good luck!

Hey jjhmom, hang in there...things WILL get better, just have a little faith!!! As the saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens.....maybe this is for the best....you're in my thoughts and prayers.
