please pray for my family

I am new to this board and was surprised to see this what a wonderful idea everyone can get some encouragement from everyone else. I had to say that first.

but I would like everyone to pray for my dad who has colon cancer and is very sick at the moment, he went to the dr. last week and we found out that the tumor has grown quit a bit and that his cancer cell count went from 200 or 300 to 1200 in a matter of 2 weeks. He has be on chemo twice now and they say if this doesn't work they will try a new medicine that is out. I just hope something helps him.

now as far as my son goes he is only 2 and has been a very sick little boy, he was having problems w/his colon as well we found blood in places that it wasn't suppose to be, well we found out that it was probably just a virus or something ? who knows but that was good news on that, but he has had other problems as well he has had an ear infection since January that hasn't went away and just had ear surgey we go for a follow up in a couple of weeks, and on top of it all he hasn't started talking yet and so he was going to speech thearpy for a little bit until the insurance company dropped us so needless to say everything has been out of pocket since the surgery. but hopefully I can find a new company to go with.

and this is all in one family people don't believe but hey when it rains it pours.

my husband had a stroke last April and is on a ton of medicine to keep everything in order, and it seems to be working so lets pray that it keeps working.

and now on to a happier note

my sister is expecting her first baby in July or August lets pray that everything goes okay with that.

pretty much just keep my whole family in your prayers because it has been a bad year for all of us. and we can draw strength from the prayers and so forth. thanks for looking

About your son's not talking. Well when my cousin was a toddler she didn't hardly talk till she had surgery on her ears, she also had ear infections that wouldn't go away. Did they say that could be possible. After she had her surgery she started talking good and hasn't stopped for 12 yrs now. LOL But I also have numerous neices and nephews under the age of three and several of them just don't talk. But I'll pray for your precious little one that one day he is talking your ear off.

Will pray for your dad too. I know what you are going thru there. We just dealt with that in our family.

well i have some bad news

we just found out that my dad only has 2 weeks to 2 months top he really took a turn for the worst and there is nothing that they can do for him now. please remember me adn my family in this time of need.

Praying that your family can get through this. Just remember that God is faithful and no matter what happens it is his will. He will not give us more than we can handle. I am living proof of that!

Lost my dad to cancer a few years ago and still miss him alot. One little piece of advice: make sure you don't leave anything unsaid, be sure and sit down with your dad and talk about your lives and how you love him.
Will keep you in my prayers and hope your family gets through this and things get better.
I think your son probably could not hear well, and thus the late talking thing. Work with him and I bet he will catch up if his hearing has been restored.
God will listen to our prayers and yours. I have faith that when things get bad God helps us get through it all and come out better someway.

the nurse came out yesterday and today
Yesterday she sd that if he made it till his next b-day that he would be doing good which is the 20th of this month, then today when she came out to hook his morphine drip up she sd that he had 4 days tops. she sd that she has never seen any one go so quickly as he has. just wanted to let everyone know. and thanks for all of the prayers.
