Prayer of encouragement for my Mom

We lost my father one year ago today, and even though we know he is in a better place, and that he is no longer in any pain and without suffering, we miss him more than words can say.

He had the most wonderful laugh, it was part of his vocabulary...just about everything that came from his mouth ended with a smile or a laugh. His eyes sparkled whenever you looked at him.

Anyway...I would appreciate a prayer for my mother to help her through this day...

Im praying for years to come that your Mom will be okay with the loss of her husband. Ive only lost grandpas and grandmas, but I know what death is and only time will take away the pain, but the memories you all have had together will certainly be enough for your Mom to get through each and every year.

You and your mom are in my prayers. I lost my Dad 5 years ago and still miss him deeply. I hope your memories and your mom's sustain you during this reminder of what has come to pass, and of how wonderful a man it sounds like your Dad was.
