 Post radiation thearpy MRI on 1/27
OK...it's 4 weeks since DS (Matt) finished his radiation thearpy and his MRI is this Sunday at 8:00am. Please say a quick little prayer that things are good inside that head of his  TIA and I'll keep you posed when we get our results on Wednesday 1/30

Thanks everyone for your prayers and good wishes! Saw the MD's today and it's not exactly what we had hoped and prayed for, but it wasn't totally bad news either. The mass on the left side of his brain DID respond to the radiation and is shrinking! He has some swelling at the site, but it does show signs of improvement! Unfortunately....a new VERY small mass is starting on the right side. We start a new chemo drug this Friday and hopefully that will get rid of any cells that are still floating around in that head of his! Please keeps those prayers comming TIA ~*~* Jane*~*~

Jane, I am glad the mass on the left is shrinking and I hope and pray the new drug will get rid of the new mass completely. How old is your son? Has he been dealing with this for a long time? I am so sorry your son is ill. (((Jane))) Lori |
