A couple of prayers...

Dear God,

Please be with my parents through their difficult time now. They were both laid off this past Friday. For one of them to lose their job would be hard enough, but since they both did, that's even tougher. Please be with them and assist them as best You can. Please put my mom at ease and let her know everything will work out. Somehow it always does. Please help her let go so she can rest and be at peace. Please help with my step-father's diabetes, so that should they end up without insurance, he will still be ok. Thank you Lord for being with them always.

Secondly, please be with my friends. Sadly this past Friday, the birth mother decided to keep her child and took the baby from my friends. What makes this even more difficult is that my friends were with this child since birth and were, in sense, raising her. They were to go to court this coming Monday and be able to take the baby home. This time is extremely difficult on everyone, including me as I too have bonded with this baby. Lord, please watch over us all and bring us peace. Please hold this precious child in Your hands and wherever You may place her, please always watch over her and be with her always.

Lord, thank you for all you've blessed me with. Thank you for always being by my side and guiding me. Thank you for being with my parents and my friends. Thank you Lord, for everything and everyday.

Jeni, there is somewhere in the Bible where it says that if two are in agreement, God is there in the midst of them.

Lord, I lift up these prayers to you. You know the needs of Jeni's mother and stepfather. Lord, you know that they need medical insurance and financial support to survive. Father, I just ask that you will provide for them in their time of need and lift them up. Provide jobs for them in a swift manner, and wrap your arms around them and protect them.

Lord, for Jeni's friends who were adopting this beautiful child, I pray for the child, that she will be loved and protected and brought up in a loving home with people who know you. I pray that her birth mother have the strength and courage to raise her up in your house. I also pray for Jeni and her friends, who have loved this little child. Father, may you give them love and strength during this difficult time, which is so heartbreaking for them. Father, may you be with them and help them see that for whatever reason, it was not your perfect timing, and may you provide a beautiful child for their home swiftly.

Lord, we believe that you are the one and only God. We believe that you hear and answer our prayers. I just lift up DOD right now that you would help all of us who are grieving or have difficulties in our lives, that you would help us get through these troubled times and never forget that you hold us in your arms, you walk with us, and that we are never alone.

In your son's precious name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, be with Jen and her Moma and Dad, show them the way. Give them strength to make it through this. Help them, lift up their spirits. Help them to get some kind of help for food and housing and with their medical. Also, be with Jen and her friends that they can deal with this. Keep this angel in your arms and keep it safe. Help them to deal with the pain. Keep them in your loving arms and release their anguish.
Help all of to know you better and to follow you. Show us the way, Dear Lord.

Thank you both for your beautiful words. Your prayers mean so much and were so beautifully stated to God. He is the Almighty and it is through His will that all will be right again.

My parents are doing ok. The hardest part my mom is trying to accept is that she worked for this company for 10 years. Often putting in many more hours than paid for. She also never thought this could happen to her. A message to all...please have savings set aside for situations like this as you never know what tomorrow could bring.

My friends are completely withdrawn. They raised this child for a month. They were up with her in the middle of the night to feed her and change her. They were there when she just needed to be held and were there to watch her sleep. Apparently the birth mother's mother bribed the birth mother into keeping the baby and the maternal grandmother will raise her so that the birth mother can still be a teenager and play. How sad that out of this woman's selfishness, a child will now be raised without a mother, but also a father as the birth father has made it clear he wants nothing to do with this beautiful baby.

Lord, thank you for being with my parents and my friends. Thank you for holding each of us in Your hands daily and guiding us down Your path. I know You walk with each of us and I can not thank you enough for all You have done. Lord, please continue to watch over my friends and family, but also everyone here at DOD. You have created these boards so that people who love You much as I do can come together in love and support of one another. If only our world was a beautiful as DOD.
