Update..surgery..Mitchell

Thank you and blessings to all who interceded for 2 yr. old (almost!)grandson, Mitchell.
The surgery went well; they cleaned out the lesion/tumor (depending upon to whom you are talking), cut a piece of bone from his skull and somehow clipped it in place to over lap the existing hole as well as the one they made getting the piece of bone.
The doctors seem confident the bone will regenerate and both holes should close within a year. He had an MRI today and was then released to go home.
The plans are in place to have his 2nd birthday party next Sat.
May God continue to watch over and heal this little boy...and lead him on the path He has for is life.

Again, so many thanks for the prayer support.

Oh..BTW, while waiting for the surgery to be completed, Mitchell's dad, his aunt and my husband went to give blood. It will be for surgery on Tues. for a little one named John. Know his family would appreciate prayer also. And....husband said there was one little one in surgery while they were waiting....and this little one went back to God. Have no names, but this family could use love and support!!!

I am so glad to hear everything went well with your grandson's surgery. I will pray for continued healing for him. I can't begin to imagine what it is like to have a 2 year old go into such a delicate surgery. Pretty scary.

So sorry to hear of the other families loss. I pray their pain will be healed with time. I have had losses in my life, but to have a toddler pass on is just too much. This just makes me thank God again for my beautiful little girl. She is 2 1/2 and I'm always afraid something will happen to her.

Dear Catying, I am so glad that you had such good news about your grandson! After reading the original post, I was relieved to see that you had updated us all about him. I feel very confident that God must have a special plan for his life! Please keep us posted on him. I look forward to hearing about how his party goes!

I am so happy for you!! I will continue to pray for him. will also add the family that God took their baby home and the little boy going through surgery.

My oldest dd had open heart surgery when she was 3. She only weighed 22 pounds. She went through it fine. I know God had a plan for her here on earth.
