I confess I have never posted or even read the posts in this forum before. I was not really aware of its existence. But it is a great idea...I pray for others every day of my life.
I am posting today to ask your prayers for a good outcome as I have a lump in my breast checked out at my appointment on Januarty 16. Please pray too that I stay cool and not collapse in tears....I am prone to doing so. Will let you know the results.
Last of all please pray with me that God will give me the strength to deal with it, whatever happens....

My sister had a lump and it turned out to be fatty tissue. I am praying yours is benign. Please let us know.

Dear Lord,

Please be with Chippers now, during her appointment and always. We know Chippers has more to do here and therefore please see to it that this lump is nothing more than just a bothersome lump. Please take her hand and put her mind at ease. Lord, walk with her daily, as you always do, and let her know that everything will be ok. You know what each of us are to do in the lives You've given us. Please help Chippers continue with hers.

I myself have found a lump and went through all the anxieties associated with waiting. This was several years ago and I had it removed. It turned out to be nothing. Whew. I do understand how you're feeling right now. I'm praying yours is also nothing. If you want to talk, let me know. I'm always here.

Thank you all for the prayers and words of encouragement. I am very nervous about this and the appointment is for tomorrow afternoon. I have never had any lumps before. I did have a mamogram within the last year, but I found this lump right after I scheduled my regular yearly check-up. I will let you all know the results of the appt. By the way, you can call me Liz, tho chippers is fine too. I do have faith. But can use any support and prayers you offer.

Today I am thanking God/ and doing a happy dance at the same time....the doctor does not see any reason for concern....but just to be sure he has ordered a diagnostic mamogram. I am reassured by his attitude and think he is just being careful with the mamogram. (He did not want to discount completely the fact that I felt something I thought was a lump. He did not find any)
