Friends of mine are adopting. The baby is due December 14th. This is a very stressful time for them. Please pray the baby is delivered safe and healthy. Please give the birth mother strength to keep her promise and allow this child to be raised by my friends. Please pray for my friends that they are able to accept the gift of this child and that their high levels of stress will subside.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. We're getting close. The birth mother was starting to have some contractions last night...so, we're hoping to be welcoming a little one in the next 48 hrs. I'll give updates as I have them.

What a wonderful Christmas this will be for your friends, jeni!! I hope and pray that the delivery goes well and the baby is healthy. What a blessing a new baby is and I really hope the birth mother sees what a blessing she is bestowing on your friends and goes through with what she has already decided would be best for the baby. Please keep us updated!

Still no baby...This little one is taking her time. The due date is today...but the birth mother's still having contractions, but nothing else. We're all just waiting.

The wait is horrible.

I have personally known 2 teenagers recently who gave up their babes to a loving home. I was so proud of them.

I am still praying. Your friends must be nervous wrecks. Hopefully the peace of God that passes understanding will be on them.

Great news...the baby is here

Bailey Marie was born last night (12/14) at 11:17PM. She weighed 7 lbs even and was 20 1/4" long. She's absolutely gorgeous.

My friends invited me to come along to be at the delivery. We weren't in the room, but saw Bailey within a half hour of her birth. She's got beautiful dark hair, in fact, more than her new daddy

My friends aren't out of the woods yet, as we have to wait for the adoption to be final. But all is going great.
