Prayer request!

My husband had some emergency hand surgery today. It is being treated as an infection right now, but everybody involved thinks that it is actually ischemia (dead tissue) brought on by lack of circulation to the fingers over the past month or so before his angioplasty. He was having pain for a few days prior to angio, but it has gotten progressively worse since then. We need to pray that things will improve and the tissue will regenerate, if that is God's will.

On the other side of this is his lab report. I had his routine monthly labs drawn today while we were preparing for surgery. They don't look good. We are re-drawing some tomorrow, but kidney function and pancreas labs are bad. Again, please pray and add him to local prayer chains.

It is reassuring that people are praying around the world and presumably that prayers are being offered around the clock. It is getting worse!
He is now in Intensive Care on a respirator. Please, continue to pray and add him to any and all prayer chains. Thanks!

I am so sorry to hear the sad and frightening news. I haven't been in this forum for awhile so this is the first I have heard. I will keep you and your DH in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to you both.
