Need prayers and Christmas dinner

Hi,a few yrs ago there was an area in forums where you could sign up for help for christmas or be adopted for christmas,this was for families with sick kids in it,Im in need of a Christmas Angel-we have been thru katrina,lost all we had,before the storm my grandkids lost their dad to suicide,then his dad commited suicide,when that happened it left us homeless,now were in our apt,and my husband fell at work and broke his ribs,now he is out of work,and 3 weeks ago 1 of the 3 kids,found out she has Chiaris malformation,and has to have brain and spine surgery in the next couple of weeks,Im sick at heart over everything,worried ,about the dinner,about the kids not getting a nice holiday meal,and really scared about Shalees brain surgery. Im just sick at heart and need a Christmas Angel or to be adopted as a family for the holidays.I have looked all over the place in the forums,and can not locate the area to ask for help or put a plea out for our family,can you help me in any way on this please? Im sorry this is so long,I dont mean to be a bother,just kind of lost here in many ways.Im hoping to find an angel who can help with a gift card to get groceries and goodies for the kids for Christmas eve and Christmas Dinner. We are a family of 6.Im also asking for prayers that her brain surgery is a success.

Have you tried contacting a local church. Our congregation has adopted quite a few families.
