I need some prayers, please!

My husband & I are experiencing infertility & on Thursday, we will be going for our 2nd artificial insemination (1st didn't work for us). Please send up as many prayers for us as you can - 12:30 on Thursday afternoon! I figure a few extra prayers certainly can't hurt! Thank you!!

Many prayers going up for you!
My hubby and I tried for 9 years! We never went thru anything fertility things! No insurance and no money or we prob would have!
We have now been married 18 (19 in Nov) years and have 3 wonderful boys! Troy 9, Dalton 7 and Selby 3 They are our miracle boys! Drs' said we would never have any kiddos!

It is amazing the wonderful things the dr's can do now a days! I know if it is God's will for you to have a baby right now.........that all will work out! Many prayers for you both! Please keep us updated on how things go!

Thank you, June - we don't have infertility coverage either, so we are paying for everything out of pocket...we pray that it doesn't have to go to in-vitro for us to have kids...

Best wishes for a successful procedure! BTW, how many times do the drs. do this before they advise the couple to try in-vitro?

The dr. is suggesting that we try 3 of the IUIs (inseminations) before moving onto in-vitro, but we are trying to talk her down to doing 2, only because we've had to take nearly 3 months off in between our 1st & 2nd IUI because the fertility meds caused me to develop cysts on my ovaries (common side-effect) & they can't proceed with the next IUI until the cysts are gone. In-vitro is hugely expensive & invasive, but from the statistics that I've heard with our specific problem, in-vitro is most likely the only thing that will help us, anyway...here's to hoping for a miracle, though!

Praying you do get your miracle - I have a friend with "4" kids now that Dr's originally said she would never be able to have children!

Another friend adopted a child for same reason & then she got pregnant!!

When God's ready for you to have your child - I believe it "WILL" happen for you!

Thanks Marilyn & Misothere - the procedure went well yesterday. I was pretty crampy afterwards yesterday, so I stayed in bed, slept & just rested for the entire afternoon. Now I have to wait two weeks to find out if it worked!

thanks so much June! This has got to be the longest 2 weeks ever (or at least since the last time we had this procedure done), but my hubby & I are confident this time, because we are in a much better place with God this time around. Maybe that's what He was waiting on!

June72 - you are so sweet for continuing to think of us! I am doing well, but growing more impatient by the day. I could probably test Tuesday or Wednesday, but I will most likely wait until Thursday morning when I know that I will most likely get accurate results from a home pregnancy test before I go for the real pregnancy (blood) test later that day. Otherwise, I have no symptoms (as expected this early on), but we're still trying to remain hopeful!!

Gosh I remember the wait and not knowing! Hoping that this time would be the time. Its tough!
