| Re: prayers for mom-in-law MIL still having good & bad days with her fractured pelvic bone & broken wrist, but more so with Alzheimers too. SIL is starting to be drained with the added visits after work on top of her daily lunch visits. We live aprox. 2.5 hours away & she's affected the most 'cuz she's closest. ------------------------------------------------------------- My daughter's father's 1/29 appt. they told him they couldn't do chemo anymore, but if his liver count went down "alot" they might be able to try a different chemo treatment. He's got appt. Tues. 2/6 probably to check that count again. Daughter said he's asking people to visit him more on wknds at cabin. She thinks it's his way of wanting people to remember him having fun in nature 'cuz he's not a "say goodbye type" guy. In other words he's probably accepting progression of his cancer even if he won't admit it.

| Re: prayers for mom-in-law SIL said MIL is not doing good, more depressed than ever. She used to be almost childlike in what she said & did 'cuz alzheimers made her "get reintroduced" to things, like snowglobes & nestling dolls & little things & even what each flower was........ Both SIL & my daughter has "more" on her mind which you can look up under Hubby needs prayers now........ Daughter said her dad was going to Drs about "if" they could try different chemo on Tues. 2/6. Then Weds. 2/7 she found out her step dad went to ER & on 2/8 they found a tumor! She's scared again of restarting the process with step dad that her dad's in the ending process with. |

| Re: prayers for mom-in-law Daughter said her dad's liver count was done & he's now taking Chemo pills, but if they make him sick he'll stop. He's all about "quality of life" & even went off ice fishing at Cabin with 9 buddies this weekend. MIL - still has no interest in life what so ever - even eating. SIL goes to feed her in Alzheimers wing during her work lunch hour & after work for dinner. |

| Re: prayers for mom-in-law SIL came down to visit my hubby today & said MIL is pretty much in same condition as my prior entry. We had our attn. on my hubby & what his situation was, so I just told her what I knew & said I'd keep her informed. My daughter who's not even 21 - has so much on her plate emotionally right now. On 1/29 her dad was given 6 wks to 3 month's to live with his last stages of cancer. Then Thurs. 2/8 I told her about her stepdads tumor & told her we're waiting on Pathology results. Today she called my hubby/her stepdad & hubby said she sounded depressed. I asked if he told her about his heart condition along with tumor & he said no, a prior guy she dated is in Boston, MA hospital 'cuz he was in a bad car accident. |
