That's great, that you went and talked to your Mom - I talk to Mom and Dad from here - for me and this is "just me", it's like they're not there, but in Heaven so I'm figuring they're listening wherever I am!
Lisa, you hang in there too.

Yes it was wonderful to get out! We are planning on going back when the kids get spring break the first week in April.
Its great to know that their are other insane people out there with me Don't be sorry, I needed a good laugh!
I talk to mom everywhere and pretty much every day but usually it is a quick talk. lol The boys don't think mom should have time alone lol I just happen to make a stop by myself at the cementary, so I could talk and cry without upsetting the boys kwim. My son says that nanny is his angel I told him that was wonderful bc not all kids could say that they had their grandma for a angel.

Re: Prayers again please

I just wanted to update you on Margie. She is in a nursing home for at least another week. They have to change one court date bc she will not be home for it. She ended up having a stroke when they did a stress test on her. So now she is having problems with her hand and of course the place on her bottom that they had to work on. Please continue to pray for her and the girls!

Re: Prayers again please

Hi,
A stroke? Mark's cousin who'd applied for disability for his heart attacks, had one when the SSD Dr. made him take a stress test - right in front of him! They are not allowed to do that anymore. Thank God. Our prayers are with you, your family, the girls and her.

Hugs,
Marilyn

Re: Prayers again please

What a hard thing to go through. I will be praying for you and for the girls.
We have had a few deaths in our family also, and it feels so hard at times.
I hope the girls have counseling if they need it, try more than one counselor if the first one doesn't "click".
Or someone in the family or a friend (I'm thinking of the 15 year old especially)who is good at connecting. What a hard age, and it is so hard to understand sudden death, at any age! Even when your faith is strong.
At a younger age, it seems so cruel.
She will need to be surrounded by love.

Re: Prayers again please

I agree finding a couselor that "clicks" for each person involved in grief may be a hard task with hoops insurance companies make you go thru'!

Yet should be worth it in the long run (especially for girls so young being forced to deal with such grief).

Re: Prayers again please

Thanks everyone! I don't know what the girls dad is doing with them? Not sure if counseling has even been thought of! He don't have much to say to any of us. Never did kwim
Thanks for the continued prayers! I know that the Lord has something that will be good out of all of this!

Re: Prayers again please

June,
Continued prayers for the girls, their Mom and also for Michael. It's hard to go through all of this both for you and them, so praying for you as well.

Hugs,
Marilyn

Re: Prayers again please

Just an "open ear" of a trusting person whether it be a friend, relative, school counselor, or clergy member is always a good source for the girls (or any of us) to try opening up when we need to.

Hope all those involved open up to "somebody".

Re: Prayers again please

Thanks girls!
I am hoping to get to see Michael over Easter weekend! I can't wait to see him and how he is doing!
I haven't heard much on Margie or the girls. What I have heard is such a mess!
The truely do need all the prayers they can get!
As for my aunt Nellie she is doing pretty good! She misses her son badly, but is coping better than I thought.

Please continue to pray for all of them

Re: Prayers again please

Well today was our Easter dinner. The kids hunted eggs in the snow! They simply loved it. Michael never made it in, Mandy is sick so she didn't get to bring him. Now it will prob be several months before he gets down. Thanks for all the prayers and please continue with them
