| Re: Prayer for Grandma Don't be afraid for her, support her decision to go! Chemo has saved peoples lives that I know that are now in remission. If you can go & just sit with her while she's getting Chemo "cocktail" all the better. When my mom went all the people on chemo appetites increased & they had a table that ya' can bring crackers & cookies etc. which is nice too. Have faith that this is part of Gods plan for you & her & all your family to go thru' to learn a life lesson, hard as it may be to hear that right now. BE STRONG for her & she will pick up on your energy! |

| Re: Prayer for Grandma Hi, Prayers for your grandma, she is going through a lot and is a very strong woman as this is her choice. Support her in it and watch her come through it, with the Lord's help. You and she will both be in my prayers. Kat ![]()

| Re: Prayer for Grandma I know what your going thru' & thought you might like to know about Saint Peregrine (who's is recognized as the Patron Saint of Cancer victims because a malignant cancerous growth on his leg was cured). Keep the faith that the Lord will perform a miracle for your grandma as well! I'm keeping you in my prayers too! |

| Re: Prayer for Grandma Hey Guys, Thanks for the concern, and prayers. My Grandma finished her 3rd chemo therapy. She had to drink a bunch of red liquid (I think it was berium or something), and then they took X-Ray like pictures of inside her body. She started with colon cancer, but it all was removed from her colon. But, it went into her liver. I believe there were 12 tumors in her liver. And one big one. After she took the test, they gave her a cd with all of the pictures on it. She was afraid to look at it. I was really concerned, and wanted to know what is happening. So, I took the CD, and looked at the pictures. I saw the pictures from 2006, and compared them to 2007, and to me, there was little improvement. But then agian, it looked complicated, and im not a doctor. She went to the doctor about 3 days later (last thursday), and found out that the big tumor was reduced by 25%. Ofcourse I get two different stories. One from my Grandpa, and one from her. On the car ride home my Grandpa said that nothing improved and that the tumors will never go away, yada yada yada. Well, I expected that from him, but then my Grandma told me that there was improvement, and that she should improve more. They say the bottom line is that she wont live for more then 5 years. I have a hard time with this because everything I hear is from my Grandma and Grandpa. I never am able to get the real story from the doctor. So, I am forced to deal with these assumptions from my Grandpa, and the negative attitude of my Grandma (she has always had a negative attitude toward stuff, its her personality). Anyways, She can't taste anything, and is having a lot of diarehea. Other then that she is fine. She has to keep taking chemo. Thanks for the prayers guys! Keep em comin'! I pray for all of you too! ![]() |
