Prayers
I just wanted to get y'all to pray for Lawrence! At the begining of the week he was doing excelent. He was completely off the ventulator, they had him with a oxygen mask over his trech! Now his kidneys are not functioning right, blood pressure is low and he is back on the vent 100%! He had a infection, but it has cleared up so that is not the prob. The drs are really concerned. I won't be able to get up there till at least Sat. Please keep him in your prayers!

I know its been a while since I have updated. He was doing so good! I don't know what God's plans are for him! I want the Lords will to be done here. I just hope it is to keep him here

Lawrence, Michael and you and the rest of your family are always in our thoughts and prayers and I read your posts out loud to Mark (my husband), so his too.. please let us know how he's doing and when you get up there on Saturday, if you can, let him know... that he's in lots and lots of people's prayers...

I pray that Lawrence & my brother John are all right.
John's on oxygen, kidney & liver not working ETC.............
So as you said .......may gods will be done.
When I pray or light candles, know that Lawrence is being thought of too (and you)!

Many prayers for John!

I talked to my sis little bit ago. Lawrence is not doing very good. His sugar is awful where his kidneys are not functioning right. He is on dialys. I think my sis said that he couldn't wake up right now if he tried, because of his sugar. They had to raise his pain meds back up because he seemed to be in pain. Gosh it is just scary the things he is going thru right now. We just never know what we are going to have to go thru before we leave this world. We went to see him a couple of Saturdays ago. Need to go back up, but not sure when we will get there. Such a drive then with the boys.
Please continue to pray for him!

I'm still praying for both "your" Lawrence & my bro' John....... I've heard they take the oxygen tube outta' the mouth after 10-14 days & do the "Trach" & that might be another thing to "deal" with.

John had amputation's today to both left leg & right foot & he was jaundice the day before surgery. Plus he's still on kidney dialysis everyother day (unless that changes) and his liver started going down hill again too....................

EVERY & ALL prayers are really appreciated...................... we lost my mom in spring 2004 & then my oldest brother David in summer 2006 - WE JUST CAN'T lose another family member so soon...................

My goodness, that is a lot to deal with. Lawrence has the trech it is much easier on them. He also lost his right foot and so far up his leg. He is still under and has been since July 8. Its been tough, and he is 2 1/2 hours away so we only get to see him every couple of weeks, sometimes longer. It depends on if I can get a baby sitter or what hubby has plans. He watches them most of the time when I go but he needs free time on weekends too.
I also lost my mom in Nov 2004! It has been a rough couple of years. I miss her dearly.

Continuing to pray for John and your whole family!

Yes he is my bil. Lawrence and my sis have been seperated for 3 years now.(Lawrence is as close to us as Carla) Carla never signed the divorce papers, which turned out to be a good thing. They have a 14 yr old son, Michael. Micheal now stays with my other sister Mandy and she is responsible for all the decisions for Lawrence. Lawrence is not doing good. They are not sure how much longer they will do the dialys's for him. I'm praying that God's will be done, no matter how hard it is going to be, God will see us thru. I worry more for Michael than anyone!

Our prayers are also with you and John and the rest of your family. Remember, also, miracles do happen, I'm living proof.

I've never posted this on here, but the fact that I'm alive at all is a miracle. I was on life support (total), and not expected to live, but God decided differently and I'm here, though disabled, and also from the meds that they had me on, I was supposed to be left with kidney/liver damage,which I also don't have.
Keep in mind who Dr's work for - God. And He knows what he's doing...

Thanks kat! God truely does know what he is doing! You are very right miracles do happen daily! Thank God for yours! I could tell you several myself that have happened in my life and those around me. Kat God left you for a purpose and I can see that you are sure doing it by testifying about what the Lord has done for you. You are a great inspiration to many people and I will be the first to say I am one of them!
We sometimes get discouraged and forget that God is in control, thanks for the reminder! We truely serve an amazing God!
