My computer crashed so I haven't been here... I'm so, so very sorry.... and will continue to pray for you all and Michael too. Sometimes I wish that God's will was different, but it's not up to us. So near the holidays too.. pm me if there's ANYTHING I can do, k?

Thanks Marilyn for asking. I am doing ok! Miss him much, but I believe he is with the Lord (and mommy) so I know he is in wonderful hands. I worry for Michael so much, but I know that he is a strong boy and he can endure this. I kinda wonder if that is why God kept him here this long, to wean Michael from his dad. kwim? Him and Lawrence done everything together and if he hadn't had time to adjust I don't know if he could have managed. I am not sure if it is real just yet to Michael, bc after the autopsy they couldn't show him, so it just didn't seem real. I hope that makes sense. Please continue to pray for him.
You have been wonderful thru all of this and I want you to know that I am very greatful for your friendship and all your prayers. I thank God for you in my life!

I also pray that you and your hubby are feeling much better!

Maybe your right about Michael needing to be weaned away from his bond with Lawrence, (supposedly there's a "reason for everything"). Just keep an eye on him, 'cuz he could also be in kinda' an emotional shock state.

I know it was hard losing Lawrence & still is, but you seem to have your heart & head in the right place by "knowing he's in a better place with God".

Loving is the easy part, Letting go is the hard part - but in the end thier will always be memories of special relationships to help us all get thru' this chapter of our lives.

Still praying for you & your family to get thru' this very hard chapter of all your lives.

Thanks Lisa! You have been a wonderful help to me also!
Don't worry they are keeping a very good eye on Michael I truely know there is a reason for everything!

As we try to look at it is.......Its not goodbye.....it's I'll see ya later! I plan on keeping my heart right and him again, as well as my other loved ones gone on. The memories is what keeps me going!

June - you sound like your handling this well for you & Michael & your loved ones. Your strengh is great.

Dad's water heater went, but we still kept a promise to Sylvie (who's 13) & saw move called "ERAGON", that's based on a story a 16 yr. old boy wrote. (I loved it, so much I want to see the next one in the Trilogy)

If funds will allow & if it's a movie Michael will like, It might be a great thing for somebody to take him to (to spend 1 on 1 time with). He may not be grieving on the outside, but inside there "may" be a loss & just this 1 thing "might" help him get thru' the loss & get on.....

I got it and sent one back and also sent another email to ya.

Sorry I missed your other post! I haven't seem Michael since the funeral. I talked to my sis the other day and she said he was hanging in there. They are coming down for Christmas on Dec. 30. I can't wait to see him and see for myself how he is doing.

Michael.. it'll take time, but I think you're right. He saw his Dad in the hospital going through so much and he sounds like a very good and smart boy, so he'll understand, and the hurt does fade in time. He's also got all of you, which is a REAL bonus.
