Hi Nancy,
You and your Dad and family are in our prayers - let us know when you get a chance how he makes out.

Re: STROKE

You said your dad lost weight which is a good thing, so perhaps that will help the blood work come out better. My dad had a stroke & started small changes in his life like diet & exercise & less stress & he's still here to love us.

Each person's emotional level is different & crying is a release that should not be bottled up which can be unhealthy. But if your having an extremely rough time maybe speaking with a close family member, friend or clergy, or professional will help release some fears you have & make you feel better just having someone listen.

Re: STROKE

Nancy,
Our prayers are with you and your Dad for his bloodwork to come out great. Since he's been home and lost some weight, the bloodwork which is I'd guess, routine, may just come out better than it's been!
The crying? You've been and are still going through a lot; crying is one way of "getting it out". If you're depressed, you might want to check into seeing a counselor, I can tell from personal experience that they help so much.

Keep us updated, we CARE.
Gentle Hugs,

Marilyn

Re: STROKE

Hi Nancy,
My prayers are still with you and your Dad and your whole family. It's good that he didn't have a stroke and as for the tests - it's been a little while since he's had the stroke, so it could be that they're just checking everything. Better to make sure he's ok than not, you know?
You poor thing, you sound terrified and that also, can have you crying all the time - it's a hard thing to go through to see someone we love so much (like you and your Dad) go through anything and be OK afterwards.
When my Dad had heart surgery, I was scared for quite awhile too. I think it's normal when you love someone. Try to calm down, and if it gets too bad for you, we're here -- always for you. My regular email address is on here too, if you want to email me. Anytime.
For a lot of people, crying helps. If it's not helping, it could be fear or depression and I'm no Dr. but if you've got a good family Dr., that you can talk to, it might not be a bad idea. Just a thought.
Please, keep us updated, we're here for you and we do care!
Gentle Hugs,
Marilyn
